12:46 a.m. - A caller reported gunshots and yelling in the area of Viewcrest Apartments, 525 S.W. 13th Place, Hermiston. Police did not find any suspects.

7:16 a.m. - An employee with the U.S. Forest Service reported someone on Wednesday took a tool from a work vehicle near Harris Park, Milton-Freewater, and “pounded all over the side of the pickup, flattened tires, and dumped oil all over.”

9:30 a.m. - A Weston woman on Wildwood Loop reported she is moving and a man “torn up” her fence while she was away. She also said someone used a knife to punch holes into the liner of her waterfall.

9:41 a.m. - A caller on North O’Brien St., Stanfield, said a 30-year-old man was riding a bicycle fast while carrying a rifle in a case.

10:22 a.m. - Hermiston police received another call about gunshots, this time a caller on East Opal Court said she heard two shots “like a high powered gun” from west of her back yard,

11:39 a.m. - An Ione mother reported a juvenile shot her daughter with a pellet-type gun. She said she took the gun, her daughter was OK, but she wanted to talk to someone about it. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded and spoke to the juvenile.

12:18 p.m. - Law enforcement responded to a call from a father at Trail Apartments, 295 Boardman Ave. N.E., Boardman, who said juveniles forced his daughter into a restroom, locked her inside and stole items from her backpack.

12:49 p.m. - A 7-year-old boy used a foam bat to hit a 3-year-old boy on Southeast Sixth Street, Hermiston. The mother of the 3-year-old said there was no need for medics, but the hitter’s mother left with him and her other children and she has a description of the vehicle.

1:37 p.m. - Five black Angus bulls went missing from property on Sunquist Road, Milton-Freewater.

2:21 p.m. - A man on Lind Road, Umatilla, told law enforcement a woman came to his house and wanted to sell him some tools. He later found someone had broken into his shed and taken tools.

5:33 p.m. - A newspaper thief is on the loose. A caller on Weis Road, Milton-Freewater, reported someone in a white car has stolen newspapers from her driveway, and someone stole three papers from her neighbor. She asked to speak to someone with the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office.

6:42 p.m. - A woman said she moved into a residence at Green Acres Mobile Park, 53752 Appleton Road, Milton-Freewater, and found a box with passports, birth certificates and more.

•A Milton-Freewater police chase ended with the capture of a wanted man.

Milton-Freewater Police Chief Doug Boedigheimer reported an officer learned Richard Streck III, 40, of College Place, was driving a gray 2002 Chevrolet Suburban with Washington plates. Streck, though, had a misdemeanor warrant in Umatilla County and a felony warrant from the Washington Department of Corrections.

The officer saw the Suburban on Thursday afternoon near South Mill Street and Southeast Eighth Avenue. Streck was driving, saw the officer and “began eluding by driving recklessly on South Mill Street southbound.”

The officer pursued. Streck turned eastbound on Southeast Ninth Avenue. By then, several Milton-Freewater officers were in pursuit. Streck headed east out of town. Chase speeds did not exceed 65 mph, according to Boedigheimer.

Officers pursued Streck into a stubble wheat field off of Powerline Road, where he stopped and tried to run.

“He ultimately gave up, obeyed commands, and was taken into custody without harm or incident,” the chief reported.

Police booked Streck into the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, on the warrants and for reckless driving and misdemeanor and felony counts of attempt to elude.

•Boardman police arrested Mario Junior Morales, 33, of 333 Marshal Loop, Boardman, for unauthorized use of a vehicle.

•Pendleton police arrested Alejandro Gonzales, 40, of Hermiston, for felony attempt to elude and a parole violation.

9:09 a.m. - Medication was reported stolen from Daisy’s Adult Foster Home, 16 S.W. 12th Ave., Milton-Freewater.

10:44 a.m. - A resident of Southwest Nye Avenue, Pendleton, reported her son stole three Ziploc bags full of quarters from her home.

10:44 a.m. - The rear driver’s side tire of a car was slashed on Northeast Third Street, Hermiston, the car’s owner reported to Hermiston police.

11:29 a.m. - A woman at Wal-Mart Super Center, 2203 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton, reported she tried to pet a dog and the owners threatened to punch her in the face. She requested contact from a Pendleton police officer.

11:57 a.m. - Pendleton police were called after a woman using the ATM at Bank of the West, 416 S.W. 20th St., was followed back to her car by a man who then tried to get into the passenger side of her car, which was locked. The woman left the area but talked to bank staff and they suggested she report the incident to the police. The caller described the man, who had walked toward Dean’s Market & Deli, but police were unable to find him.

12:06 p.m. - A resident of Southeast 11th Street, Pendleton, reported the theft of personal paperwork including birth certificate and Social Security card. She requested contact from a Pendleton police officer.

12:10 p.m. - A Marine Corps sergeant conducting a service at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Umatilla contacted Umatilla police after finding a snake tied up to the doors of the Seventh-day Adventist Church next door to the cemetery.

2:53 p.m. - A resident of Lexington reported to the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office they received a scam call regarding cooperating with the grand jury or else he would be arrested. The caller provided the phone number for the scammer.

3:21 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a man who tried to steal a package off the front porch of a residence on Northwest Horn Avenue. Police were unable to locate the man.

7:16 p.m. - Juveniles were reportedly “screwing around on construction equipment” near Pendleton High School and West Hills Intermediate School. A school district official reported construction personnel were en route to the site, but requested Pendleton police respond as well.

8:42 p.m. - An aggressive opossum held a family hostage in their house on Southeast Seventh Street, Pendleton, until a resident called Pendleton police for help.

9:01 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office, Boardman Fire Department and Boardman ambulance were called to the vicinity of Desert Road and Frontage Lane near Boardman by a caller who said he came across a rollover accident on an access road off Interstate 84 and that he had an occupant of the vehicle in his car. The caller said the man had a cut on his head and back pain. At 10:39 p.m. a sheriff’s deputy called dispatch and requested they contact the day shift deputies to request a sign for the area from the Morrow County Road Department warning about some of the curves in the road. The deputy said this is the third wreck in the area, and that people aren’t seeing the curves and are driving straight off the road.

9:04 p.m. - A resident of Joy Lane, Hermiston, reported a “wild cat” growled at her when she went outside. The caller said the cat was not housecat size but larger, and thinks there might be two of them in the area.

5:49 a.m. - A newspaper carrier reported two fawns tangled up in a fence on Southeast Gilmore Street, Heppner. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Department and the city of Heppner responded and freed the deer.

8:31 a.m. - A wallet was reported stolen out of a locked vehicle in the 400 block of South Elizabeth Street, Milton-Freewater.

9:03 a.m. - Three bicycles were stolen from the 800 block of Lamb Street, Milton-Freewater, about two weeks ago, the bikes’ owner reported.

1:42 p.m. - A resident of Hidaway Springs Road, Ukiah, called the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office to report two men who came to his gate on 4-wheelers and asked to come on the property to walk around and take pictures of the cabins. When the caller refused, one of the men shot toward him with a .44 pistol, and also had a rifle with him. The two men then rode south on 5450 Road. The caller provided descriptions of the men, and requested contact from a deputy.

4:29 p.m. - A Hermiston resident reported the windows on the front and back of a garage at property he owns on West Hermiston Avenue have been broken out.

7:23 p.m. - A resident of the 900 block of Cowl Street, Milton-Freewater, reported damage to her fence and the theft of wind chimes off her property.

7:26 p.m. - A man reported finding what he thought might be a poached spike elk near Ditch Creek cabin on top of Copple Butte earlier in the day while hunting in the area.

12:54 a.m. - A man left his wallet on the coffee table in his home on South Main Street, Pendleton, and went to sleep. When he woke up, he said, the wallet was on the floor and more than $500 was missing. He requested contact from a Pendleton police officer.

1:09 a.m. - Two people on 4-wheelers were reported driving up and down East Punkin Center Road, Hermiston, and then back and forth between there and the Short Stop. The caller said they are driving fast and all over the road. Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies were unable to find the culprits.

4:25 a.m. - The owner of Age of Woods, 125 S.W. 18th St., Pendleton, reported someone trying to break in through the back door with a crowbar.

9:17 a.m. - Someone entered a home in the 100 block of Northeast Sixth Avenue, Milton-Freewater, and stole cash, the homeowner reported.

10:17 a.m. - A bicycle was reported stolen from the 700 block of Evans Street, Milton-Freewater, sometime during the night.

11:11 a.m. - Someone rummaged through three vehicles at a residence on Carolina Road, Umatilla, but not a whole lot was taken — except an ashtray. A second caller from Carolina Road also reported her vehicle broken into at 1:49 p.m.

12:46 p.m. - A manager at Taco Bell, 2001 S.W. Court Place, Pendleton, reported the safe was short more than $300 from the previous night’s crew. She requested contact from a Pendleton police officer.

1:48 p.m. - A man called the Milton-Freewater police to report damage to his vehicle the previous day, possibly from a firearm, in the 1300 block of South Mill Street.

4:25 p.m. - A resident of West Van Buren Street, Athena, requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy or his parole officer, claiming Joe Dirt stole items from him and left a threatening message. The man’s neighbor called the sheriff’s office at 6:40 p.m. to report that the man had been “cussing and screaming across the street” all day and he was tired of listening to him. Another neighbor called at 6:51 p.m. to report she, too, was tired of listening to him and requested contact from a deputy. The first neighbor called again at 8:13 p.m. to report the screaming and cursing had resumed, and requested contact.

5:38 p.m. - A man reported his son broke into his house on Southwest Hailey Avenue, Pendleton, and damaged a door but was unsure whether anything had been taken.

8:52 p.m. - A vehicle on East Darwin Street, Athena, was broken into sometime during the day and a rifle and pistol, among other items, were stolen.

Friday

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Miguel Angel Rodriguez, 19, 116 N.W. Sixth Ave., Milton-Freewater, for harassment constituting domestic violence and third-degree criminal mischief.

•Pendleton police arrested Raymond Lee Penrod, 42, address not provided, for aggravated fourth-degree assault.

•Pendleton police arrested Cody James Gay, 19, address not provided, on charges of first-degree theft, first- and second-degree burglary (other structures) and criminal conspiracy, all felonies, and on two felony and one misdemeanor failure to appear warrants.

•Oregon State Police arrested Laura Belle Lewis, 53, of Weston, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (controlled substance).

Saturday

•The Morrow County Sheriff’s Department arrested Bianney Nathaniel Perez Rojas, 37, address not provided, for possession of methamphetamine, criminal possession of forged instrument and first-degree forgery, all felonies, misdemeanor giving false information to police, and on felony and misdemeanor failure to appear warrants.

•Umatilla police arrested Joseph James Ashley Burns, 21, address not provided, for first-degree burglary and fourth-degree aggravated assault, both felonies, and for second-degree theft, harassment-offensive physical contact, menacing and second degree criminal mischief (vandalism), all misdemeanors.

•Pendleton police cited and released Lisa Ganuelas, age and address not provided, for duii (alcohol).

Sunday

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Julie Marie Moore, 42, address not provided, for first-degree burglary and possession of methamphetamine, both felonies, and for first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree theft, both misdemeanors.

8:33 a.m. - Thieves stole two lawn mowers from Del’s Feed and Farm Supply, 2055 N. First St., Hermiston.

8:52 a.m. - A woman reported she found pipes with wicks on the nature trail at Third Street and Interstate 82, Umatilla. She said she took pictures of the suspicious items to show law enforcement.

10:33 a.m. - Umatilla police received a report of domestic violence in a brown minivan going toward Umatilla on Highway 730.

11:29 a.m. - A woman reported she was at the Pendleton Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2203 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton, where a man and woman threaten to punch her in the face when she tried to pet their dog.

11:57 a.m. - A stranger tried to get into a woman’s car in Pendleton.

The woman reported she was using a cash machine Bank of the West, 416 S.W. 20th St., Pendleton, when a 40-to-50-year-old man followed her to her car and tried to open the passenger door, which she locked. She man had brown and grayish hair, she reported, and wore a burgundy shirt and blue jeans. He left toward nearby Dean’s Market & Deli, 412 S.W. 20th St., she said, and she called from a restaurant. Police did not find the man.

12:21 p.m. - A Hermiston resident reported the theft of an inexpensive camera, a table and suitcase from West Quince Avenue, Hermiston.

1:40 p.m. - An Athena resident reported the theft of pellet rifle and a 30.06-caliber rifle from Zerba Road.

1:59 p.m. - The Pilot Rock police chief contacted a resident on Southwest Third Street, Pilot Rock, about illegal burning.

2:38 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of a theft of a backpack with school supplies and a cellphone from a locker at Sandstone Middle School, 400 N.E. 10th St., Hermiston.

4:02 p.m. - A Pendleton woman reported her ex-boyfriend was harassing her through social media and threatened suicide.

5:18 p.m. - One vehicle rolled over on Highway 332 near Milton-Freewater, trapping a female inside.

6:18 p.m. - A caller reported two gunshots came from a vehicle passing his home on Highway 339 just north of Ferndale Elementary School, 53445 W. Ferndale Road, Milton-Freewater.

7:10 p.m. - A Hermiston man reported he felt suicidal because he broke up with his girlfriend.

7:16 p.m. - Juveniles were “screwing around” on the construction equipment between Pendleton High School, 1800 N.W. Carden Ave., and West Hills Intermediate School, 1700 N.W. 15th Drive, Pendleton.

7:35 p.m. - A Pendleton caller reported a German shepherd mix at a house on the 600 block of Southeast Seventh Street tries to bite people.

9:14 p.m. - Children, teenagers and their parents, according to a caller, were smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol outside an apartment at Pendleton Square Apartments Phase II, 924 S.W. 28th Drive, Pendleton. The caller also said the group was “having sexually graphic discussions.” Police did not find anyone.

•The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office helped catch a man trying to get away from Umatilla police.

Sheriff Ken Matlack said Umatilla police at 2:02 p.m. were called about pursuit of a vehicle heading west on Highway 730. Around three minutes later deputy Nathan Braun placed a spike strip on the road near milepost 177, about a mile east of Irrigon.

Matlack said the strip blew out one tire on the suspect’s vehicle, but the driver turned into Riverview Mobile Home, 1370 Highway 730, Irrigon.

“He obviously didn’t know where he was going ... and went into a dead-end area,” Matlack said. “So they were able to take him into custody.”

No one was at the police department Tuesday to talk about the incident. Court records, though, show Antonio Reco Reaves, 32, of Hermiston, faces initial charges of driving while suspended/revoked, reckless driving, and recklessly endangering another, all misdemeanors, and felony attempt to flee.

Records also show Reaves has multiple convictions. His most recent was in April for possession of methamphetamine.

1:24 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a large male wearing all black walking with a flashlight and looking in cars and yards on Southwest 18th Street.

2:58 a.m. - An Athena caller told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office he learned of a woman going around poisoning dogs in Athena, and his dog is ill, and he was sure the woman living down the street poisoned his dog.

6:49 a.m. - A man called the Irrigon Justice Center, Irrigon, and asked to speak to someone after learning his dog “attacked someone and was put down while he was in jail.” A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy tried to call the man, but was not able to contact him.

7:57 a.m. - A Pendleton caller reported a vehicle break-in on Northwest 57th Street. A second caller at 8:13 a.m. reported someone broke into her car on Northwest Ingram Lane and stole two baseball caps, a duffel bag with clothes and a watch.

7:45 a.m. - A Hermiston man on Northeast Seventh Street told police it looks like someone took a baseball bat to his mailbox.

8:16 a.m. - IRS phone scammers targeted a Hermiston woman, who asked to speak to an officer about the ongoing calls.

9:04 a.m. - A woman reported the theft of part of her fence from Adams Road, Pendleton.

9:26 a.m. - Morrow County sheriff’s deputies responded to Green Acres Park, 80542 Paterson Ferry Road, Irrigon, and separated two men for fighting and told them to stay away from one another.

12:50 p.m. - Two Hispanic males ran from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy at a “grow” site at Kosmos and North Loop roads, Stanfield.

3:24 p.m. - Eastern Oregon Rental & Sales, 338 N.W. 57th Drive, Pendleton, reported the theft of a Barreto Stump Grinder Model E30SG. The store manager said a customer rented the machine on Aug. 26 and was to return it the next day but still has not. The business called the man to no avail, and an employee went to the customer’s address only to find the man did not live there.

3:49 p.m. - A man loitering at Cottage Flowers, 1725 N. First St., Hermiston, used an outlet behind the business to charge his cellphone. An employee of the business asked police to have the man move along.

5:05 p.m. - Someone broke into a vehicle at Tri-Harbor Landing Apartments, 210 Klickitat St., Umatilla. The vehicle’s owner told police her husband noticed in the morning the glove box and the hood were open and someone may have tried to remove the stereo.

6:05 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of possible elder abuse or neglect.

6:26 p.m. - A resident at the apartments at 230 E. Dogwood Ave., Hermiston, told police a woman from the apartment below hers pounded on the door and claimed the caller was in her parking space. However, the caller told police, there is no assigned parking at the complex. She also reported someone parked a red vehicle directly behind her white Chevrolet Traverse to block her in.

7:09 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of a woman who asked for help while pushing a car on Southeast 10th and East Main streets and claimed her boyfriend assaulted her and took her wallet and phone.

7:28 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of six gunshots and a male yelling “Go ahead and shoot me” near Central Station, 100 E. Main St., Weston. Deputies did not find anyone suspicious.

10:49 p.m. - Two people prowled through yards in the neighborhood near the assisted-living facility Columbia Care Cottage-Ozmac, 325 Leaf Lane, Hermiston.

•Umatilla police arrested Crystal Dyann Homan-Lara, 31, of Pendleton, for depositing lighted material on land or a highway (arson), providing false information to police, resisting arrest and on a warrant.

•Hermiston police arrested Terry Lynn Longhorn, 57, no address provided, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

12:16 a.m. - The caller on the 9-1-1 line reported people in the vehicle next to his heading into Hermiston threatened him and may have tried to cause a crash. They were near Denny’s, 2265 S. Highway 395, Hermiston. The passenger of the other vehicle had a knife and motioned as though he would slice the caller’s throat. The vehicle then sped in front of the caller and slammed on the brakes.

10:12 a.m. - A caller at Wesley Wise Excavating, 300 Third St. N.W., Irrigon, reported a break-in at the shop and theft of items.

11:15 a.m. - A Pendleton cop received anonymous information that a student had marijuana at Sunridge Middle School, 700 S.W. Runnion Ave. The officer notified the school, and a search of the student found no marijuana.

11:38 a.m. - Two students from France making a documentary on legalization of marijuana in Oregon came to the lobby of the Hermiston Police Department, 330 S. First St., and wanted to know what law enforcement thinks about the legalization.

11:49 a.m. - A woman on West Hermiston Avenue, Hermiston, told police someone stole her house key and now all of her cans are gone from her shed.

11:55 a.m. - A Pendleton man on Northwest A Avenue reported someone broke into his 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, 1987 Ford Bronco and 1988 Ford pickup. He also said keys were missing for the Cavalier and the Head Start bus.

2:07 p.m. - An 86-year-old Hermiston man tried to buy a gun in Pendleton, but a background check revealed previous convictions and prevented the sale.

2:09 p.m. - A 40-year-old man needed an ambulance ride from Love’s Travel Stop, 78665 Tower Road, Boardman, to a hospital when food would not dislodge from his throat.

2:34 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a man two hours ago was in a woman’s house on Meyers Road, Echo, and the woman ran him off when she came home. The suspect left in a white pickup and could be connected to another criminal case.

3:05 p.m. - An intoxicated man tried to enter vehicles in the parking lot at Hermiston Cinemas, 355 W. Theater Lane, Hermiston. Police did not find a suspect.

3:21 p.m. - A caller told Pendleton police and man got out of jail and contacted “the kids” in violation of a restraining order.

4:33 p.m. - A woman reported the theft of her car from Northeast Anvidon Street, Pendleton. The information did not include the make and model, but the caller identified a suspect and said the car had a sticker on the back that said “Country girls hunt too,” and a yellow back bumper sticker displaying “KLOVE,” a radio station.

4:49 p.m. - Two people tried to steal items from a backyard on East Cherry Avenue, Hermiston, but they ran when the home’s occupants arrived and one entered the yard.

5:12 p.m. - A woman told Pendleton police someone on Tuesday stole her dog from her trailer in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Supercenter, 2203 S.W. Court Ave.

6:47 p.m. - A caller asked Hermiston police to check on the welfare of a 3-year-old boy on West Madrona Avenue who locked himself in his mother’s van and would not come out for more than 10 minutes. A neighbor coaxed the child out, the caller said, while the mother never came out of the house to get her son.

7:38 p.m. - A Pendleton woman reported a break-in at her house on Southwest Ninth Street and the theft of a computer and other electronics.

8:17 p.m. - Umatilla police received secondhand information of a man stalking a woman who lives on Lind Road.

•Oregon State Police arrested Hugo Sanchez Gutierrez, 25, no address provided, for unlawful manufacture of marijuana.

•Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cody Edward Rankin, 26, of Heppner, for third-degree theft, second-degree forgery, credit card fraud, and identity theft.

•Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brian Allen Ferrell, 41 of Irrigon, for domestic violence fourth-degree assault. The arrest came after an emergency call from a sobbing woman who said her boyfriend had been beating her and she wanted to leave. She pleaded with law enforcement to rush to the scene “before there was a body in the house.”

The sheriff’s office, Oregon State Police, Boardman police and the Irrigon ambulance service responded. The ambulance took the victim to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston, and the sheriff’s office took Ferrell to the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton.

6:27 a.m. - A caller reported the theft of a Kona King Kikapu bicycle from the KOA campground at 1375 S.E. Third St. Kona King Kikapu bikes cost upward of $2,000.

7:06 a.m. - A Boardman man on Kunze Lane reported a dog attacked his parents’ dog, and he hit the aggressive mutt with a shovel. He said he would kill it if someone does not get the dog.

7:28 a.m. - A caller at Sno Road Winery, 111 W. Main St., Echo, reported a break-in at a work trailer and the theft of tools.

8:18 a.m. - A mother brought her daughter to the Hermiston Police Department, 330 S. First St., Hermiston, to talk to an officer. The mother said her child fears police and talking with an officer could change that.

9:02 a.m. - A Pendleton man on Southwest Nye Avenue reported the theft of two guns from his vehicle.

10:32 a.m. - Hermiston police received a report that a possible bank robbery suspect was walking on West Highland Avenue near the Gotta Stop Mini Mart. Police did not find the person.

10:35 a.m. - A woman told Hermiston police her Chihuahua, Nina, was missing. She described the dog as white with brown spots and wearing a pink collar. Nina also has a fainting condition.

12:18 p.m. - A man on Southshore Drive, Umatilla, reported harassment on Facebook over a Trump sign his wife placed on his property.

12:45 p.m. - A woman told Pendleton police she picked up an elderly and confused man at the Southgate Sinclair & Dino Mart at 701 Southgate Drive.

2:06 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of marijuana plants in Irrigon. A deputy may have found a location for a suspect. The case was under investigation.

She also reported she heard several other veterans did not get their medications on time. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office took a report.

7:07 p.m. - Squatters appeared to be using drugs at a residence on East Beech Avenue, Hermiston.

7:16 p.m. - The German shepherd belonging to a resident on West Despain Street, Ukiah, killed six chickens belonging to a neighbor.

10;29 p.m. - Pendleton police responded to the 400 block of Southwest Fourth Street for a man hitting a woman in the face and preventing her from calling 9-1-1.

10:43 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office responded to Northeast 35th Street and Riverside Avenue, Pendleton, on a report of 13 gunshots. Deputies determined the call was unfounded.

•Boardman police arrested Santiago Lopez Ciprian, 31, no address provided, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

•Morrow County Sheriff’s Office at 9:05 a.m. received 9-1-1 information that a man and woman were fighting in a vehicle and causing it to swerve at Kunze Lane and Paul Smith Road, Boardman. Deputies responded and arrested Ronald Joshua Milton Rice, 29, of Boardman, for fourth-degree assault, interfering with making a report, strangulation and second-degree kidnapping.

Court records show Rice has a criminal case pending in Marion County for theft, trespass and mischief.

•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men at the mobile home court at 2903 N.E. Riverside Ave., Pendleton. Byron Ray Baker, 24, and Ronald Esco Messer, 18, both are in the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, for possession of methamphetamine.

Court records show Baker has a long criminal history that includes serving time at Two Rivers Correctional Institution, Umatilla.

6:51 a.m. - A door was kicked in at Barenburg USA, 60 Marine Drive N.E., Boardman, and two welders were stolen sometime between 2 and 4 a.m., an employee reported. Morrow County sheriff’s deputies took a theft report.

6:54 a.m. - Stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle while parked in the 900 block of Lamb Street, Milton-Freewater.

8:16 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Department is investigating credit card fraud reported by a resident of Northwest Tumbleweed Boulevard, Irrigon.

1:51 p.m. - The Boardman Fire Department was called to Threemile Canyon Farms, 75906 Threemile Canyon Road, Boardman, to put out a semi full of hay that was on fire.

12:19 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office called the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office wanting to know if there had been any reports from the vicinity of Riverpoint Farms, 28790 Westport Road, Hermiston, about a shooting star or a possible plane going down toward the west. Morrow County deputies investigated the area, but found nothing.

10 a.m. - Items were reported stolen by a Walla Walla resident from the 100 block of North Main Street, Milton-Freewater.

11:48 a.m. - A resident of Southwest Fourth Street, Irrigon, reported all his ducks and chickens were killed sometime during the night. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.

2:08 p.m. - Items were reported stolen out of a vehicle on Washington Lane, Irrigon, sometime Friday.

5:58 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of possible child abuse.

8:25 p.m. - A woman came into the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office in Heppner to report another woman had punched her in the face three times. Upon investigation, deputies determined the case involved mutual combat and wrote up a report for the district attorney’s office.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Pedro Uriel Rojas Villa, 21, 620 1/2 S.E. Elm Ave., College Place, Wash., for duii, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another.

•Paul Vicente Thompson, 25, address not provided, was arrested for first-degree burglary and fourth-degree aggravated assault, both felonies, and misdemeanor charges of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal mischief and interfering with making a report.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Gregorio Diaz, 19, 271 N.E. 14th Ave., Milton-Freewater, for possession of methamphetamine and on a Umatilla County detention warrant.

12:04 a.m. - A caller reported the man who broke a window a couple of months ago at Mosa, 138 S. Main St., Pendleton, keeps trying to enter the bar and refuses to leave.

12:08 a.m. - Some things you just have to have. A female in Pendleton called 9-1-1 to report her girlfriend told her that her items were outside the residence and she can come get them. The caller said she told the girlfriend to make sure her Shark mop was with the items, but when she checked, the Shark mop, indeed, was not there. She said she would wait for police.

7:58 a.m. - A woman on Baldwin Lane, Hermiston, reported someone pushed her four-wheeler down the driveway and tried but failed to start it, then just left it there.

9:13 a.m. - A man on East Walls Road, Hermiston, reported the theft of a diesel tank in a pickup-bed trailer.

10:30 a.m. - Pendleton police received a call to check on a man who was “yelling and screaming” during the downpour while wearing shorts and a tank top on Highway 11 near Northeast Riverside Place. A second caller several minutes later reported the man was soaking wet and screaming in front of Lindell’s Auto Salvage, just a block from Riverside Place, then left the area.

12:14 p.m. - Pilot Rock police received a tip about dog abuse on Southwest Cedar Street.

3:25 p.m. - A Pilot Rock resident on the 200 block of West Main Street reported a man and woman are “polluting the creek by doing their laundry in it and urinating and defecating in it.”

3:32 p.m. - A Pendleton resident asked to speak to police after falling for an IRS scam.

4:15 p.m. - A car crashed into a tree on Coffman Lane, Milton-Freewater, and the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The information did not indicate if the driver or anyone else suffered injuries or was OK.

5:05 p.m. - A woman in Umatilla reported she and her husband worked on their cars two days ago, and her brother’s car was there and “got scratched.” She now came home and found a scratch on the hood of her car and asked for an officer to respond.

6:56 p.m. - Pilot Rock police checked into a report of illegal burning on Northeast Cherry Street but did not find anything.

8:33 p.m. - A Pendleton resident on Southwest Third Street complained her neighbor blared music and won’t turn it down when she asks. So she asked police to ask them instead.

8:56 a.m. - Pendleton Electric, 3501 Westgate, Pendleton, reported the theft of money during the last four months.

10:32 a.m. - A dog prevented a Pendleton woman from entering her vehicle on Southwest Kirk Avenue. She reported every time she went outside the dog came after her. She asked police to get the dog.

3:47 p.m. - A woman on Umapine Road, Milton-Freewater, reported a check scam. She said she received a $2,150 check for a $500 Yorkshire-Chihuahua pup that no longer was available and asked for a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy to take the check.

4:09 p.m. - A woman asked Pendleton police to check on her mother, who showed signs of depression and could hurt herself.

4:37 p.m. - A caller reported she was buying shoes for a woman who needed them in Pendleton and asked for police to contact her.

5:05 p.m. - A Umatilla resident reported his father stated he is sending people to assault him but he hung up when a dispatcher asked him for more information.

5:15 p.m. - A customer at Grocery Outlet, 1810 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton, reported an odd incident. She said a woman approached her and said she was looking for a small boy with blond hair and with two Hispanic adults. The stranger also claimed to be a federal agent and grew defensive when the caller asked for her name and asserted her son was a brigadier general. The caller described the woman as Caucasian, older, 5 feet 9 inches tall with light brown/grayish hair in a bun and wearing a button-up shirt and jeans. Police did not find her.

6:34 p.m. - Another Umatilla resident asked to speak to an officer regarding harassing texts she is receiving from her soon-to-be ex-mother-in-law.

8:11 p.m. - Two boys living at Vista Village, 2801 S.W. Houtama Road, Pendleton, shot a boy in the head and arm with a BB gun. The boy’s grandmother called police and said the child was not injured, and that she tried talking to an adult in the neighbor boys’ trailer, but no one answered the door.

9:57 p.m. - A resident on Tutuilla Creek Road, Pendleton, told police someone for seven straight nights operated a backhoe with lights on, and he wants that to stop.

•Pendleton police arrested Nika Lauren Kash Kash, 24, of Pendleton, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

•Pendleton police arrested Gina Marie Perez, 32, of Umatilla, for possession of methamphetamine.

•Pendleton police arrested Amber Danielle Gomez, 29, no address provided, for theft of services, second-degree trespass, resisting arrest and interfering with a peace officer.

•Oregon State Police made the following arrests after stopping a vehicle for operating without headlights at 7:41 p.m. on Highway 37 near milepost 20 north of Pendleton:

Ricky Sly Higheagle, 31, of Pendleton, for possession of methamphetamine, giving false information, felon in possession weapon and on two warrants;

Ryan Tyler Patrick, 31, of Pendleton, for possession of methamphetamine and on a warrant;

and Angela Kay Mitchell, 45, also of Pendleton, for duii (controlled substance) and refusing to take a test for intoxicants.

7:33 a.m. - Umatilla police received an anonymous tip that a man wanted on several warrants was at the Umatilla Inn & Suites, 1370 Sixth St., Umatilla.

7:35 a.m. - A caller told Pendleton police he saw a cougar about 20 minutes earlier in bushes at Southwest Isaac Avenue and Third Street.

7:54 a.m. - A woman reported she left jewelry at Comfort Inn & Suites, 77514 S. Highway 207, Hermiston, and the hotel called her and said it was missing.

11:06 a.m. - A caller with the community garden at Good Shepherd Medical Center, 600 N.W. 11th St., Hermiston, reported an older man has been taking dirt from the site.

12:18 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a man hitting a woman in a trailer at Brooke RV Park, 5 N.E. Eighth St., Pendleton. Police did not find the trailer.

12:19 p.m. - A Pendleton business owner reported his wife took his credit card, and then his next door neighbors used the card to order $73 from a pizza establishment.

2:54 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report that renters in a property on Southeast Byers Place threatened to poison a neighbor’s dogs if they kept coming onto the rental property.

3:15 p.m. - A male at Lakeview Manor on East Dogwood Avenue, Hermiston, reported his roommate was drinking and consumed crystal meth, then became aggressive. The intoxicated roommate was inside the residence, which had no weapons other than kitchen knives.

3:28 p.m. - Pendleton police received a request for extra patrols for the 600 block of Southeast Byers Avenue due to a “skinny male” breaking into a rental in that area.

4:13 p.m. - A father asked Pendleton police to check on the welfare of her daughter who is homeless and selling drugs for a man. The caller, though did not know where his daughter was.

5:05 p.m. - A caller reported unsafe conditions and code violations at Homestead Apartments, 516 N.W. Bailey Ave., Pendleton.

8:04 p.m. - A bicycle-riding man on South Highway 395, Hermiston, threatened to slice a woman’s tires and her neck. The woman reported the man, about 28 years old, could be with a woman in her mid to late 20s and was going to Tower Apartments, 1150 S. Highway 395, Hermiston.

12:57 a.m. - A male walked down the center of South Main Street on the 200 block and stated if anyone had a problem with him, they could take it up with his .40-caliber gun. He then sat outside the Rainbow Cafe, 209 S. Main St.

•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brandon Alexander McMinn, 23, of Pendleton, for fourth-degree assault, interfering with making a report to police, and second-degree kidnapping. The victim suffered an injury and went to urgent care at St. Anthony Hospital, Pendleton.

10:30 a.m. - A Stanfield woman reported she was in bed with a broken back and her ex-boyfriend has held her down and then trashed her house.

1:54 p.m. - A Pendleton man asked to speak to an officer about someone purchasing “inappropriate products” in his name online and sending them to his home.

2:22 p.m. - A Weston caller reported the theft of antique equipment from outside a residence on Pine Creek Road.

3:03 p.m. - A semitrailer went airborne after crashing into a farming tractor on the eastbound side of Interstate 82 near the Powerline Road exit, Umatilla. Oregon State Police reported the semi was going 63 mph when it came upon the tractor and its dolly going no more than 25 mph. The semi driver tried to avoid the collision, lost control, hit the farming rig, flew into the air and crashed in the grassy median.

No one reported injuries, according to state police, and the tractor driver received a citation.

4:59 p.m. - A man told Pendleton police he wanted to press charges after a male relative of his girlfriend’s husband — yes, girlfriend’s husband ­ — pushed him around and threatened him.

6:42 p.m. - Look out for that goat.

A resident on Rudder Lane, Hermiston, called 9-1-1 and reported the goat was loose and on the road. The goat also was too big for the caller to capture and put in its pen.

6:43 p.m. - A Umatilla woman on Yakima Street reported she paid a neighbor to put up a fence, but instead he just took the money and did nothing.

6:51 p.m. - Morrow County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a neglected and abandoned dog covered in ticks at Tower Road exit off Interstate 84. Deputies found the dog and took it to Humane Society of Eastern Oregon/Pet Rescue, Hermiston.

7:17 p.m. - Several people fought in the alley behind the Packard Tavern, 118 S.E. Court Ave., Pendleton.

9:34 p.m. - A Pendleton woman reported a “very bad smell” coming from a residence behind her home off Bridle Drive. She said the people there grow marijuana or “possibly the male is cooking meth again.”

11:31 p.m. - Pendleton police received a call for help from a woman scared of the man she thought she knew.

The woman reported she was dating a man who claimed to be in the National Guard in Nigeria, and then demanded she buy Apple computers and other electronics on a credit card or he would hurt her. She reported she was scared and wanted to talk to officers.

9:19 a.m. - Gunshots from dove hunters spooked a horse at West Progress and North Ott roads, Hermiston. The horse owners asked the Umatilla County sheriff’s office to send a deputy to stop the shooting.

10:15 a.m. - A man on Diagonal Road, Hermiston, told law enforcement he needs protection from a man he has let live in his back yard. The man was a thief, has a pistol and broke the caller’s ankle last Sunday, according to the report. The caller said he now wants the man off his property, then began crying.

11:42 a.m. - A Weston resident reported a caregiver who quit on Friday also stole $400-$500 in change, $1 bills and a gold ring.

1:38 p.m. - A person with blond hair in a ponytail and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt stole a bag from a woman in a wheelchair on Northeast Gilmore Street, Heppner.

3:07 p.m. - Two juveniles did “flips” into the road on the 500 block of Southwest Dorion Avenue. The report came in from a 9-1-1 call.

5:26 p.m. - A vehicle went over the sidewalk at 915 Cowl St., Milton-Freewater, and struck the stairwell. An ambulance took the driver to a hospital.

10:06 p.m. - Someone did not pick up a mentally disabled woman from DQ Grill & Chill Restaurant, 1415 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton, following a concert.

1:33 a.m. - Multiple males pushed and shoved each other on the 200 block of South Main Street, Pendleton.

7:07 a.m. - A Ukiah man reported the theft of his blue Dodge van from his yard at the top of Battle Mountain near milepost 40 on Highway 395.

2:41 p.m. - A Stanfield woman told police her “ex has the remains of her dog that was hit by a train and won’t return them to her.”

5:36 p.m. - A Pendleton man reported his ex-girlfriend stole his red and black Ford F350 pickup and left toward Mission.

6:28 p.m. - Goats ate a man’s trees and tore up his property off Downey Road, Boardman.

9:24 p.m. - A caller reported his vehicle sustained damage at Umatilla River Road and Bonney Lane, Umatilla, after he drove into a cooler that fell off the truck in front of him.

Friday

•Milton-Freewater Police Arrested William Justice, 27, of 316 Anvidon St., Pendleton, for possession of methamphetamine.

Saturday

•An Oregon State Police trooper responding to a man causing problems in a Hermiston business ended up arresting his significant other.

Trooper Tricia Draze at 2:58 p.m. went to the Short Stop Circle K, 32553 E. Punkin Center Road, Hermiston, after a man made a disturbance there. The store manager told the trooper Jerry Sanders, 55, cannot come into the business because he makes trouble. The trooper tried to find Sanders at his nearby house, but instead only found his girlfriend, Mary Ann Sanders, 50. Draze told her about the trespass situation and also checked to see if she had warrants.

She did, and the trooper hauled Mary Ann Sanders to the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton.

The trooper also went back to Jerry Sanders’ home on Sunday and warned him to not to return or call the business.

•Milton-Freewater Police Arrested Robert Dean Falconer, 55, Of 1308 S. Mill St., Milton-Freewater, for felony driving under the influence of intoxicants.

•Milton-Freewater Police Arrested Manuel Soto, 45, Of 621 N.W. Eighth Ave., Milton-Freewater, for domestic violence charges of harassment and fourth-degree assault.

Sunday

•Umatilla police used a stun gun to take down repeat offender Marco Antonio Carrillo.

Umatilla police at about 5:15 p.m. at F and Seventh streets tried to arrest Carrillo, 28, of Umatilla, on a local warrant. He resisted officer Natalia Tovey, according to court records, assaulted her and tried to get away. Umatilla police reported the short chase ended after an officer shot Carrillo with a stun gun.

Carrillo has convictions from 2007 through 2009 for burglary, theft and assault. He then skipped a court date in August related to a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants, which led to the arrest warrant.

Carrillo on Monday pleaded not guilty to new charges of assaulting a public safety officer, second-degree escape and resisting. His next hearing in Umatilla County Circuit Court is Sept. 19 in Pendleton, and he also remains in the Umatilla County Jail.

•Hermiston police arrested Jordin Andru Grimm, 21, of 1650 W. Sunland Ave., Kennewick, Washington, for felony fourth-degree assault, interference with making a report, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment. The charges stem from domestic violence.

Monday

•Hermiston police arrested Miguel Munoz Gutierrez, 39, of Hermiston, for fourth-degree assault and harassment. The charges stem from domestic violence.

12:59 a.m. - A nurse at St. Anthony Hospital, Pendleton, identified a woman who calls the emergency department and harasses nurses. She started making the calls on Sept. 8 and calls multiple times a day, the nurse reported, and will not stop calling. The nurse asked to speak to an officer about the problem.

1:12 a.m. - A 9-1-1 caller reported an assault and someone “knocked out” at Mac’s Bar & Grill, 1400 S.W. Dorion Ave., Pendleton.

4:23 a.m. - A Pendleton man on Southeast Ninth Street asked his partying neighbors to quiet down, he reported, but they tried to assault him. He also told emergency dispatch they were drinking and doing drugs.

6:57 a.m. - A man, perhaps in his late 50s, was walking into traffic at Tutuilla Creek Road and Southwest Marshall Avenue, Pendleton, and giving vehicles the one finger salute.

11:01 a.m. - A Hermiston man reported more than $1,100 in fraudulent activity on his bank account.

1:07 p.m. - Pendleton’s code enforcement officer spent the better part of an hour tagging abandoned vehicles for towing on Southwest Hailey Avenue, Southeast Frazer Place and Court Avenue and Southwest Houtama Road.

2:04 p.m. - A woman told Hermiston police her son’s neighbors on West Ridgeway Avenue harass her when she goes to his residence and also threaten her and her son.

2:45 p.m. - A Hermiston-area woman reported two other females came to her apartment and pushed her out, pulled her hair and hit her in the face. She said she would wait for law enforcement in the parking lot.

3:21 p.m. - A man told Hermiston police that around 8 a.m. on Northwest Spruce Street, Hermiston, his vehicle kicked up some dirt, and a resident threw a chair at the vehicle causing damage.

5:42 p.m. - Someone broke into a Hermiston woman’s home on Southeast Ninth Street, ransacked her dressers and stole jewelry.

8:43 p.m. - A Pendleton man moving out of a house on Southwest 14th Street due to eviction told police while he waited on a moving van the real estate agent stole his property and destroyed the house.

9:25 p.m. - An intoxicated man at the Pendleton Safeway, 201 S.W. 20th St., sliced watermelons with a knife, tore flowers, then took off.

11:20 p.m. - Residents on South Main Street, Adams, reported the theft of $600 worth of power cords and about $40 in change.

11:29 p.m. - Staff at St. Anthony Hospital asked Pendleton police how to obtain a court order to compel the Oregon Department of Corrections to release records on an inmate at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution, Pendleton. A corrections officer was at the hospital’s emergency department after getting an inmate’s bodily fluids on him, but the prison refused to provide the inmate’s records without a court order.

Guess the hospital staff did not think the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPAA, which in part protects someone’s electronic medical records, would not apply to prisoners.

Tuesday

•Police arrested Caden K. Yeager, 21, of 3007 S.W. Nye Ave., Pendleton, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

•Oregon State Police arrested Connor S. Pankratz, 28, no address provided, for duii. The stop was at Highway 37 and Midway Road, about eight miles north of Pendleton. State police reported Pankratz’s blood-alcohol level was .14 percent by the time the trooper got him to the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, a ride of about 12 minutes.

•Pendleton police arrested Kimberly E. Terry, 28, of Holbrook, Arizona, for duii.

5:11 a.m. - A Umatilla woman said a company scammed her with “pick up” fees for a modem and router and did not give her a receipt.

7:17 a.m. - School buses speeding on Cottonwood Bend Road, Hermiston, prompted a man to complain to police. The caller said he filed driving complaints with the bus company, which has done nothing.

8:12 a.m. - A man reported the theft of $10,000 of equipment from his work trailer outside Hermiston.

9:13 a.m. - Milton-Freewater police received a report of a theft of light fixtures from the 1000 block of Northeast Third Avenue.

9:22 a.m. - Hermiston police received a call to make sleeping transients leave from the back of the building at The Arc of Umatilla County, 215 W. Orchard Ave., Hermiston.

9:33 a.m. - Friendly pit bull dogs keep entering a property on Quiggle Lane, Hermiston, to play with Great Danes there, and the owner of the Danes said he talked with the other dog owners about this but they only tie up their dogs occasionally. Now he said he wants a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy to tell them to get rid of the pit bulls.

9:59 a.m. - Hermiston police received a tip about possible sex crimes.

1:02 p.m. - A man on Southwest Douglas Drive, Pendleton, stripped off clothes while wearing an orange hat, then stood in the road and yelled at traffic. Police did not find him.

2:25 p.m. - Staff at Umpqua Bank, 450 N. First St., Hermiston, asked for police to haul off a shopping cart full of garbage and other items by their waste container.

2:29 p.m. - A man and woman argued and caused a scene at the entrance to Roy Raley Park, 1205 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton.

2:54 p.m. - A Weston caller reported a “large dog terrorized her for a block and then he charged at her.” She said she walked from Mill Street onto South Broad Street when the Rottweiler mix came at her. She said the same dog also charges children.

3:15 p.m. - Pendleton police received information about a disturbance at DQ Grill & Chill Restaurant, 1415 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton.

3:21 p.m. - A woman reported suspicious activity at a home on East Punkin Center Road, Hermiston. She went there to pick up a dog from someone she knows, and when she arrived a black pickup truck and a trailer were at the house, and the pickup driver, a Caucasian man in his 20s with dark brown hair, had uncovered a car in the garage and was loading items into the pickup. The woman said no one was supposed to be there, however.

10:03 p.m. - A woman told Pendleton police she was breaking up with her significant other who stole her TV and Xbox.

•Oregon State Police arrested Bill Wayne Snyder II, 35, of Hermiston, on two counts of failing to report as a sex offender. He came to the Hermiston state police office to register, and that’s when police found he last registered on Sept. 24, 2013, in Morrow County, about 10 months after his conviction in Washington state for second-degree child molestation. He also moved twice without reporting. State police updated his registration, though, then booked him into the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton.

•An Oregon State Police trooper at 9:38 p.m. stopped a Lincoln Continental going the wrong way on Southeast Emigrant Avenue, Pendleton. The driver failed a sobriety test, and the trooper found marijuana in the car, along with drug paraphernalia, an open bottle of liquor and a straw containing what could be methamphetamine. That led the trooper to cite the 17-year-old boy from Wapato, Washington, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, possession of meth, minor in possession of alcohol, and minor in possession of less than 5 grams of marijuana.

•Pilot Rock police arrested Jeramy Thomas Brissett, 40, of Hillsboro, for felon in possession of a weapon, theft of services and on a warrant.

•Hermiston police arrested Shavon Lee Onne Newton, 18, of 1365 S. Highway 395, Hermiston, for possession of methamphetamine.

1:12 a.m. - A 43-year-old man from Twin Falls, Idaho, escaped unharmed when the vehicle he was driving caught fire a few miles east of Pendleton on the westbound lanes of Interstate 84. Oregon State Police reported the fire destroyed the vehicle and investigators do not know the cause.

11:06 a.m. - A caller told Umatilla police she had an altercation with another dog owner when she was walking her dog at Powerline Road and Martin Drive, Umatilla. Police began an investigation.

11:18 a.m. - An ambulance responded to Two Rivers Correctional Institution, Umatilla, for an inmate that injured himself in the groin area and was bleeding

4:59 p.m. - A man on Eastside Road, Milton-Freewater, reported someone came onto his property during the night and broke off branches from marijuana plants.

5:25 p.m. - A woman reported a break-in at her sister’s house on Highway 332, Milton-Freewater.

7:48 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of someone dumping a large amount of trash on the 78100 block of Westland Road, Hermiston. Deputies did not find the waste pile.

•Umatilla County parole/probation arrested Dale Roger Burnside, 56, of 1735 N.E. Second St., Hermiston, for a probation violation and possession of methamphetamine.

•Umatilla tribal police arrested Anthony Edward Sincleir, 41, of Athena, for violating a restraining order and domestic abuse.

•Oregon State Police arrested Lavar Lester Winebarger, 60, of 81136 S. Fork Walla Walla River Road, Milton-Freewater, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

A caller at 6:37 p.m. reported he went to help a man who crashed in a ditch at Government Mountain and Powerline roads, Milton-Freewater, after his silver flatbed pickup blew out a tire and crashed. That driver, though, according to the caller, was drunk and had a wine container in his vehicle and a cooler full of beer, which he was throwing out.

State police reported a trooper in Pendleton asked Milton-Freewater to send an officer there until he could get to the scene. The trooper arrived around 7:30 p.m., and by then Winebarger had repaired his tire and was talking with the Milton-Freewater cop.

The trooper spoke with Winebarger and notice “indicators of impairment,” according to state police. He asked Winebarger to take a sobriety test, and he failed, leading to his arrest. Police processed Winebarger at the Milton-Freewater Police Department, where his blood-alcohol level was .15 percent, almost twice the legal limit of .08 percent.

•Oregon State Police cited Hubert Andre Swanson, 83, of Pendleton, for duii.

•Pendleton police arrested Jeremiah James Johnson, 33, of Pendleton, after he tried to stab a man. Johnson is in the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, on charges of second-degree attempted assault, unlawful use of a weapon and menacing. Johnson has a history of crimes, according to court records.

•Umatilla tribal police arrested Latish Leanne Adams, 18, no address provided, for first-degree burglary and second-degree theft.

•Oregon State Police arrested Oscar T. Queahpama, 33, of Warm Springs, for duii (alcohol). The arrest came after a trooper stopped a white Toyota Tacoma for equipment violation at Westgate and Murietta Road, Pendleton. State police reported Queahpama said he was just getting into Pendleton and admitted to drinking a beer at 7 p.m. The trooper took him to the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, where he provided a breath sample that showed a .11 percent blood-alcohol level, according to state police, which is above the legal limit of .08 percent.

7 p.m. - Residents on Southwest Fifth Street, Pendleton, were drinking and shooting.

8:35 p.m. - Another fight involved two people at Baxter Auto Parts, 336 S.W. Emigrant Ave., Pendleton.

9:05 p.m. - A caller complained that someone at the beer garden at Southwest Third Street and Court Avenue, Pendleton, was “on the speaker yelling ‘shake that ass.’” We’re sure this was not about a burro.

12 a.m. - A man kicked a woman while she was on the ground on the Pendleton River Parkway at Southwest Sixth Street, Pendleton.

3:13 a.m. - Pendleton police received a call to check on a 5-year-old who was alone in a trailer in row six at Wal-Mart.

3:25 a.m. - A Pendleton woman reported the theft of her gray 2014 Mazda 6 from Southwest 17th Street.

7:27 a.m. - Someone stole a 2015 Dodge Caravan from the 800 block of Vining Street, Milton-Freewater.

10:58 a.m. - Five cars crashed in a pile-up on Southgate Drive/Highway 395 at the intersection to Tutuilla Road, Pendleton. There were only minor injuries.

2 p.m. - Milton-Freewater police received a report of new graffiti on the 300 block of Southeast Sixth Avenue.

2:41 p.m. - Pendleton police received a theft report of a tan Chevrolet Cruze from Southwest Dorion Avenue and Seventh Street.

4:04 p.m. - A caller reported a male “flashed a weapon” on the 10th Street Bridge, Pendleton.

6:06 p.m. - A caller reported two or three explosions occurred to the west of Oxbow Lane and Highway 730, Umatilla.

1:14 a.m. - A man reported an explosion at North Washington and West Main streets, Weston.

2:34 a.m. - Around a dozen people fought at a home on Southeast Byers Place, Pendleton.

2:44 a.m. - Attackers at Circle K, 335 S.E. Court Ave., Pendleton, punched a female in the face and took a male’s phone and wallet, then left in a maroon Dodge Neon or Stratus.

7:09 a.m. - Someone stole a 4-foot by 6-foot “No Trespassing” sign from a residence on Southwest Birch Street, Pilot Rock.

12:45 p.m. - A woman told Hermiston police someone stole her 2001 white Suzuki car from the Economy Inn, 835 N. First St., Hermiston.

2:52 p.m. - A caller reported an assault on Southeast Sixth Street, Hermiston, with “blood everywhere,” then disconnected.

6:10 p.m. - A male told Hermiston police another male punched him in the face and head-butted him.

Friday

•Pendleton police arrested Jamie Rae Rankin, 25, of Heppner, for third-degree robbery.

•Oregon State Police arrested Kathryn A. Patrick, 32, of Pendleton, for duii (alcohol).

•A Umatilla man who did not appear for his court date on a duii charge now has another duii arrest.

Oregon State Police arrested Gregory Martin Eubanks, 54, after receiving a report at 11:11 p.m. of a driver in a Subaru Legacy nearly crashing head-on with a vehicle on Highway 395 near Umatilla. The Legacy hit the curb on the southbound side of the freeway and popped both driver side tires. Eubanks “exhibited multiple signs of impairment” at the scene, according to state police, and refused to take sobriety tests or provide a breath sample.

The trooper arrested Eubanks for reckless driving and felony duii, and also found he had a warrant after failing to appear in court on a previous duii charge.

Saturday

•Oregon State Police cited Joshua D. Williams, 24, no address provided, for duii. His blood-alcohol level was .14 percent.

•Stanfield police arrested Kyli Jane Mayenschein, 23, of 77665 S. Edwards Road, Stanfield, for felony and misdemeanor attempt to elude/flee, hit and run (property), menacing, unauthorized use of vehicle and second-degree robbery.

•Pendleton police arrested the following for duii:

Rylen James Crawford, 21, of 151 W. Beebe Ave., Hermiston;

Travis D. White, 31, of 117 N. Yost St., Kennewick;

and Oscar L. Saluskin, 27, of 151 Snowcaps Lane, Port Angeles, Washington.

•Oregon State Police cited Isaiah Aguilar, 18, of Hermiston, for duii after he displayed “multiple clues of marijuana impairment” during a traffic stop near Hermiston. Aguilar was driving a 1995 black Saab around 11 p.m., according to state police, but going 17 mph slower than the speed limit on Umatilla River Road near McConnell Lane. State police also reported the trooper found marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia in the car and let his mother take him home.

•Pendleton police cited Michael D. Eisland, 25, of Dallesport, Washington, for duii.

•Oregon State Police arrested Shane Charles MasCall, 24, of Othello, Washington, for duii.

•Pendleton police cited Trevor D. Williams, 20, of 3302 S.W. Jay Ave., Pendleton, for duii.

•Pendleton police arrested Bryson Steward Azure, 21, of 903 Smith Ave., Richland, Washington, for domestic abuse charges of felony fourth-degree assault, interfering with making a report and harassment.

•Umatilla tribal police arrested Erasmo Adame Mertas Ortiz Jr., 27, of 708 S. Wapato Ave., Wapato, Washington, for possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm.

•Hermiston police arrested Eddie Terrell Scott, 19, of 2712 N.E. Riverside Ave., No. 37, Pendleton, for two counts of restraining order violation, two counts of first-degree burglary, and one count each of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, trespass and interfering with making a report.

8:20 a.m. - An employee at Columbia River Machinery, 80907 N. Highway 395, Hermiston, reported a customer rented a trencher and trailer but has not returned them, and the company sent a 10-day demand letter to him.

8:40 a.m. - A man told Hermiston police he corresponded with a female on a dating website and now she is harassing him on the site and on Facebook.

8:44 a.m. - A Hermiston caller reported a cat stuck in a window well at the yellow house at the corner of Southwest 11th Street and West Highland Avenue.

8:56 a.m. - The Waterhole Tavern, 51593 Highway 332, Milton-Freewater, was the target of a burglary. An employee arrived for work and reported someone ransacked the business and the safe was missing.

11:33 a.m. - Pendleton police and medics responded to the 400 block of Southwest 20th Street after a man reported he believed his friend was dead from alcohol poisoning.

The patient refused an ambulance ride to the hospital.

2:04 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater man on the 700 block of Vining Street reported the theft of a toolbox, drill set and more from his house.

2:29 p.m. - A man and woman rifled through mailboxes at Tum A Lum and East Ballou roads, Milton-Freewater.

5:49 - Three boys pulled dog waste garbage bags through Harrison Park on West Madrona Avenue and Northwest 13th St., Hermiston. They took off running when an adult approached them about their activity.

6:36 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man walking over people’s property and looking in windows on South Water Street, Weston. He wore blue jeans, had a brace on his right wrist, and dirty, long blonde hair.

6:50 p.m. - A man at Pilot Travel Center, 2115 S. Highway 395, Stanfield, reported the theft of his wallet from his vehicle. He said the wallet had credit and bank cards and estimated it also contained $100-200 in Canadian cash and $300-$400 in U.S. denominations.

8:23 p.m. - A Hermiston man on East Beech Avenue reported a woman he knows stole two of his watches and a jar full of coins. He also said the neighbors asked her what she was doing at a house there, and she told him that she was family and just taking a shower.

9:51 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of one female beating up another, possibly both were minors, on West Sunland Aveune.

10:14 p.m. - Music from a live band at a house on Northeast Sixth Street, Hermiston, promoted a noise complaint from a neighbor, who asked police to send an officer to quiet down the group given this was a school night.

•Hermiston police arrested Israel Wenseslad Segura, 23, of Hermiston, on warrants for violating probation and failing to appear, along with charges of driving with a suspended/revoked license and possession of methamphetamine.

•Oregon State Police arrested Craig Quanah Lecornu, 43, of Pendleton, for felony driving under the influence of intoxicants. The legal limit for blood-alcohol level while driving is .08 percent; state police reported Lecornu’s was .26 percent.

11:18 a.m. - A woman reported her father-in-law was forcing her and her husband to leave his home at Homestead Apartments, 516 N.W. Bailey Ave., Pendleton, and threatened to hit them with a wrench.

1:44 p.m. - A man at West Orchard Avenue and Southwest Third Street, Hermiston, told police the person who robbed him previously is at the bus stop.

1:54 p.m. - Hermiston police received a call from an emergency department nurse at Good Shepherd Medical Center, 610 N.W. 11th St., to check on a 1-year-old girl who could be suffering from neglect. The mother stormed out of the hospital when she could not smoke inside, and the child had an injury to a toe that needed medical attention. The mother, though, took the child and they left on a bicycle.

2:22 p.m. - A woman on Agnew Road, Hermiston, reported the neighbor’s dogs were out again, and in the past the dogs killed her chickens and attacked her and her family.

3:02 p.m. - A Pendleton woman wanted to file a report against another woman who has been hacking her Facebook account and making “weird” statements on her behalf.

3:24 p.m. - Keep an eye out for two RAZR type scooters, both silver with pink handle bars. A Pendleton resident on Northwest Fifth Street reported their theft.

3:25 p.m. - The “one that rides the bike with bottles and cans” in Hermiston was at West Hermiston Avenue and Southwest Fourth Street throwing bottles and cans at passing vehicles. The caller also reported the man urinated in the bushes on Fourth Street.

4:04 p.m. - Hermiston police received a second-hand report that a man assaulted his girlfriend last week while she held a child and the boyfriend’s mother would not let the woman leave. Then, the caller said, the man beat her the other night and choked her, and the family is keeping her at their home against her will.

4:42 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater caller on Didion Lane asked law enforcement to check on a neighbor who asked to borrow a gun, was on drugs and paranoid, and also entered another person’s back yard “with something hanging from his neck.”

4:50 p.m. - Tim Bennett, director of security for the Pendleton Round-Up, reported the theft of a purse and cellphone from a pickup at the pavillion on the Round-Up Grounds.

5:33 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of horse abuse and neglect on Northeast Moe Lane, Hermiston.

6:03 p.m. - Hermiston police looked for but did not find the person who left Good Shepherd Medical Center, 610 N.W. 11th St., after becoming upset and making threats to return and shoot.

7:48 p.m. - A Pilot Rock man reported receiving a death threat from another man.

8:13 p.m. - A woman in Weston reported she was moving and received threatening texts from the landlord and the landlord’s family and someone ripped out the oil line and flattened the tires on the moving truck she rented.

9:01 p.m. - Pendleton police responded to a report of domestic violence at Go Fish RV Park, 1500 S.E. Byers Ave., Pendleton.

9:03 p.m. - Hermiston police received information that a 19-year-old man was hitting his sister all day.

11:18 p.m. - Teens caused a ruckus at East Main and Southeast Fourth streets, Hermiston. A caller reported she heard screaming and yelled at the youth, “I am going to call the cops,” prompting the bunch to scatter. She also yelled, “Shouldn’t you guys be in bed?” Someone responded, “Yeah, but we just got jumped.”

The caller said there was no need for officers to respond, but police should know in case someone came to school looking beat up.

•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Charles Wilmot, 45, of Walla Walla, for second-degree assault, first-degree criminal mischief, and menacing.

•Pendleton police arrested Kendall Paige Loftus, 21, of Hermiston, for possession of methamphetamine. The arrest happened around 5 p.m. after an officer pulled over Loftus in front of the East Oregonian, 211 S.E. Byers Ave. EO staff watched as a second officer arrived, and police put the cuffs on Loftus.

Cops searched her car and pulled out a shotgun and knife, then took Loftus away. A woman arrived shortly afterward, spoke to an officer and took the car Loftus drove. Loftus was booked is in the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton.

•A Pendleton man ended up with a citation for driving drunk after he went off the road near a state trooper at a crash.

Oregon State Police reported the trooper was on Tutuilla Creek Road, Pendleton, waiting for the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office to show up at a crash when a white Ford F150 pickup at 10:42 p.m. drove through the scene and off the west shoulder of the road.

The pickup drove against a barbed wire fence, and by the time the trooper caught up to it, the vehicle was heading back in the opposite lane of travel.

The trooper pulled over the pickup and cited Rick Norman Gentner, 63, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. A neighbor friend of Gentner’s drove the pickup.

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Cody Jay Sellers, 21, of Pendleton, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol) and reckless driving. He crashed a little before 9:30 p.m. on Tutuilla Creek Road, which became the scene where that state trooper ended up waiting.

10:09 a.m. - Hermiston police received a report of a possible suicidal person.

10:54 a.m. - A 51-year-old Boardman woman needed an ambulance ride to a hospital due to a severe headache. Headaches that are very painful or debilitating can be symptoms of more serious medical conditions.

12:59 p.m. - Umatilla police looked into illegal dumping at Buck’s Corner at the intersection Highway 395 North and Highway 730, Umatilla.

1:34 p.m. - Hermiston police received information regarding high school students skipping school at a home on Northeast Gladys Drive.

2:31 p.m. - A Pendleton renter reported her landlord was intoxicated on alcohol and made verbal threats.

2:47 p.m. - An Echo resident on West Kennedy Street told police someone last Friday stole his medical marijuana plant from outside his house.

3:06 p.m. - A male wearing red shorts and a hooded sweatshirt “took off running” on Idaho Street, Irrigon, after a caller caught him trying to steal marijuana plants.

4:44 p.m. - Two people in a car in the parking lot of St. Mary’s Catholic Church on the 700 block of Southeast Emigrant Avenue, Pendleton, prompted an employee of the nearby Oregon Department of Human Services to have an officer stop them from what they were doing.

6:13 p.m. - A 9-1-1 caller reported that earlier in the day the driver of a truck picking up a portable toilet at Second Street and Quincy Avenue, Umatilla, ran over and killed a cat.

6:37 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible domestic disturbance on East High Street, Athena.

6:40 p.m. - Several ducklings found a new home. A Boardman resident reported driving home in the morning and seeing the young fowl waddle onto Paul Smith Road. He said he took them home and will keep them until someone claims them.

7:28 p.m. - A Pendleton man reported he sold a pickup and the buyer is harassing him.

•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jason Walter Rhorer, 34, of 355 N.W. Orchard Drive, Portland, for second-degree trespass and possession of methamphetamine.

•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michaela Sarah Mae Palumbo, 23, of 2903 N.E. Riverside Ave,, Pendleton, for first-degree trespass, harassment, and first-degree attempted burglary.

11:34 a.m. - A hunter left his vehicle on U.S. Forest Service Road 5507 for a few hours while hunting. When he returned, he found both passenger tires had slice marks and were flat.

1:25 p.m. - Pendleton police checked out a site on Southwest 29th Street because the yard is a fire hazard.

2:59 p.m. - An Athena woman reported a someone she knows was “destroying” her home on West High Street.

3:12 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater man reported a burglary at his home on the 100 block of Southeast Fifth Avenue.

4:45 p.m. - A Umatilla resident reported someone in Washington was sending her harassing text messages.

4:54 p.m. - Residents smoking marijuana outside their apartment on Southwest 28th Drive, Pendleton, prompted a neighbor to ask police about the city law on the matter.

5:10 p.m. - A woman at Follett Lane and Sagebrush Road, Hermiston, asked law enforcement to tell her the speed limit there because a neighbor keeps stopping her and claims she is speeding. She also reported the neighbor was a construction worker.

8:51 p.m. - Someone stole a 2004 Honda 250-cc dirt bike from East Jefferson Street, Athena.

9:18 p.m. - One male was the victim of an assault at Circle K on 335 S.E. Court Ave., Pendleton. An employee of the business called for an ambulance.

10:08 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of an angry man with a .45-caliber pistol walking through Til Taylor Park, 700 S.E. Dorion Ave.

•Hermiston police arrested Jessica Cruz, 32, of Hermiston, on a failure-to-appear warrant and for possession of methamphetamine.

10:03 a.m. - A Pendleton man with a history of mental illness withdrew $2,000 from his bank and held up a piece of paper that stated, “I am terrified.” The clerk asked the man if he was OK, and he said he did not need help. Bank staff alerted Pendleton police, which sent an officer to talk to the man. He told an officer he felt safe and no one was threatening him.

10:29 a.m. - That was one expensive car wash. A Heppner woman told Pendleton police she paid $10 to go through an automatic car wash at Time To Wash, 820 Southgate, Pendleton, then looked in her bank account and saw the actual charge was $63.

12:08 p.m. - A woman on the 900 block of North Elizabeth Avenue, Milton-Freewater, reported someone broke into her garage and stole items. Milton-Freewater police that morning took theft reports from the 300 block of Raspberry Loop and the 200 block of Northeast Fifth Avenue.

12:15 p.m. - A caller asked to speak to Umatilla police about a dog that may have been a “bait dog” for dog fights. The caller said she spoke with a Umatilla officer on Sept. 7 about this, then saw the dog Thursday and it appeared police did nothing.

12:45 p.m. - Milton-Freewater police received a report of vandalism that occurred during the weekend at Blue Mountain Community College, 311 N. Columbia St.

3:18 p.m. - Pendleton police received a stalking complaint from a man who said a caller claimed to know where he lives, who goes to his home and where his children live.

4:22 p.m. - A man in a flannel shirt and jeans at Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston, yelled at and harassed a woman, who called 9-1-1 when he left. She said this stemmed from her a child custody case the man lost.

5:21 p.m. - A woman asked Pendleton police to come to her home on Southeast Jay Avenue because she told a guest who was staying with her for about three weeks to leave due to his violent outbursts, and when he stepped outside she locked him out, and he pounded on the door before leaving in his car.

6:18 p.m. - Two Pendleton juveniles harassing one another led to a fight.

Police responded to Pendleton Square Apartments, 300 S.W. 28th Drive, after a mother reported the 15-year-old neighbor ran into her apartment, grabbed her 12-year-old son, and the two fought. The teen took off, and the mother said this started when the juveniles harassed each other through a closed window.

6:39 p.m. - A resident on East Wilshire Avenue, Hermiston, told police someone threw a mirror over their fence and tore the pool and tossed bricks into the pool through the pool cover.

7:31 p.m. - A caller told Umatilla police she was walking her client’s dog on Klickitat Street when a blue brindle pit bull attacked the dog she was walking. Neither dogs were injured, she said, but she would sign a complaint against the pit bull’s owners.

7:59 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of possible domestic violence at a home on Northeast Second Street.

9:15 p.m. - An Ione caller on B Street reported the neighbor may have tried to shoot his dog in the front yard.

11:20 p.m. - A Pendleton woman on Southwest Second Street reported the theft of her trash container, and the suspects could be neighbors.

•Umatilla police at 8:53 a.m. received a call to respond to the Crossroads Truck Stop, 2020 Highway 730, for an intoxicated driver in a green vehicle that ran into a yellow pole. Police arrived and arrested Douglas Harold Loundagin, 52, of Richland, Washington, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol).

•Hermiston police arrested Christopher Deshawn Sullivan, 29, no address provided, for unauthorized use of vehicle after a 9-1-1 caller at 9:19 a.m. reported he made a delivery at Columbia Auto Body & Paint, 955 N. First Place, and a man stole his white box van.

•Pendleton police arrested Rechelle Sue Wilson, 23, of Pendleton, on three warrants for failure to appear, for felony and misdemeanor probation violations, and for possession of methamphetamine and carrying concealed weapons.

•Pendleton police arrested Torrey Nicole Newson, 23, of Pendleton, for felony fourth-degree assault after a caller at 8:11 p.m. reported Newson was intoxicated and trying to breast feed a baby.
