11:06 a.m. - A resident of Northeast Moe Lane, Hermiston, requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy after he received a call from a man who told him a package had been delivered to his house and asked when he would come pick it up. The caller said the man would not give him a name, and when he called the number back a woman answered who stated no men were there and her husband was at work.

11:08 a.m. - A laptop computer and clothing were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Car Shoppe Pro, 1598 N. Columbia St., Milton-Freewater.

12:23 p.m. - Pendleton police warned the driver of a tan vehicle who left a dog and a baby unattended outside the Salvation Army Thrift Store, 1805 S.W. Court Ave.

2:41 p.m. - Car parts were reported stolen from a storage unit at Oregon Trail Mini Storage, 81011 N. Highway 395, Hermiston. The caller said the lock was cut and her husband and son had the only keys. She requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy.

3:28 p.m. - A motorcyclist driving recklessly and speeding caught the attention of local residents, and a police officer advised the speeder.

3:59 p.m. - Two callers reported a 20-something young man running up the street in the vicinity of Northwest 11th Street and Northwest Sjoren Lane, Hermiston, yelling and trying to jump in front of cars.

4:49 p.m. - A child brought prohibited items to Sunset Elementary and was sent home. A parent was contacted.

4:52 p.m. - A resident of Southeast Byers Avenue, Pendleton, reported a neighbor stole pain medication from her home. And at the same time, on Southwest 22nd Street, a Pendleton officer investigated the reported theft of a battery charger from a shed.

5:31 p.m. - Four juveniles at the Rudy Rada Skate Park, 101 Northgate, Pendleton, smashed a cell phone and then took off running up the hill toward Blue Mountain Community College when the phone’s owner mentioned calling police.

9:43 p.m. - A resident of Jones Circle, Pendleton, reported a possible prowler to Pendleton police.

ARRESTS, CITATIONS

•Pendleton police arrested Andy Munoz, 57, address not provided, for driving under the influence of intoxicants after an employee of St. Anthony Hospital, Pendleton, reported he was intoxicated and had left the hospital toward Pilot Rock driving a brand new Ford Explorer.

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lisa Marie Montgomery, 18, address not provided, for fouth-degree assault (aggravated assault).

•Stanfield police arrested Talitha Mathison, ages and address not provided, for fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence after her boyfriend reported she was intoxicated and “putting her hands on him.”

2:41 a.m. - Males screamed and yelled and disturbed the peace in the area of the 100 block of South Main Street, Pendleton.

7:43 a.m. - An employee of Edward Jones, 352 S.W. First St., Pendleton, told police someone broke out the front window at the business.

8:27 a.m. - An Irrigon resident on Southeast 13th Street reported two pit bull dogs that killed three cats keep running into the yard.

10:42 a.m. - The owner of a vacant house on South Columbia Street, Milton-Freewater, reported someone kicked in a door and turned on the water.

1:52 p.m. - A caller reported the theft of a furnace from a bank-owned house on West Walls Road, Hermiston.

2:48 p.m. - A man told Pendleton police a male followed him home to Southwest Kirk Avenue and tried to start a fight. He said this was an ongoing issue involving people having an affair.

5:31 p.m. - People at a party at a house on Brockel Way, Hermiston, parked cars on the road and blocked entrances to homes. A caller also said the party was loud and people were screaming.

6:29 p.m. - A woman reported her mother pushed her down in the Field of Dreams parking lot in Hermiston and left in a vehicle.

7:47 p.m. - A 9-1-1 caller reported a man in his 50s holding a handgun walked behind her apartment at Ridgeway Village Apartments, 725 W. Ridgeway Ave., Hermiston.

8:41 p.m. - A woman and a man armed with a knife and another with a golf club argued at a house on North Fourth Street, Athena. A neighbor yelled at them, and they left from the front of the house. The man with the club also charged another neighbor. Law enforcement did not find them.

10:10 p.m. - A Pilot Rock resident reported her wheelchair stuck in the door and her dog ran outside, was “barking at everyone” and would not come back in. The caller also said a member of Lifeways was there but stated the company did not allow her to help with the dog.

12:56 a.m. - A woman on Joy Lane, Hermiston, reported her boyfriend hit her with his fist.

6:42 a.m. - An Oregon State Police trooper took possession of approximately 30 pounds of small arms ammunition from the evidence technician at the Pendleton Police Department. The offices of the two agencies are next to one another on Airport Road, Pendleton. State police plan to destroy the ammunition at a later time.

1:23 p.m. - A caller reported someone “busted” the door on a garage on Willow Creek Road, Heppner, entered and broke a water pipe, which then caused a flood in the garage. No one, though, broke into the house.

2:26 p.m. - A pickup caught fire at Fulton and McCormmach roads, Pendleton. A caller said everyone got out of the vehicle.

2:58 p.m. - Two black Labradors ran loose at the soccer field on Third Street, Umatilla, and kept chasing the children, who then could not play their game. Police did not find the dogs.

3:04 p.m. - Two vehicles crashed at Northwest Geer Road and West Theater Lane, Hermiston, and one car caught fire.

3:31 p.m. - The owner of a shop on Wagon Wheel Loop, Irrigon, reported some lawbreaker removed 40-50 bolts to try and gain entry, but did not because there was another way to get in.

6:26 p.m. - A poacher in a white full-size Ford shot a turkey out the window of his vehicle at Couse Creek and Kinnear roads, Milton-Freewater. The shot wounded the bird on private property, and the male driver took off. Law enforcement did not find him.

12:13 a.m. - People shot water guns off the roof of an apartment on the 200 block of Southwest First Street, Pendleton.

12:17 a.m. - A man told Pendleton police a woman stole his 1997 Saturn from Riverside Mobile Home Estates, 2712 N.E. Riverside Ave., Pendleton.

8:08 a.m. - A woman told Pendleton police a man got of out jail and called her so much she blocked his calls, but she wanted to speak to an officer. She also said she was going to court to get a restraining order against him.

8:43 a.m. - A woman asked to meet with a Umatilla police officer in front of the Riverside Sports Bar & Lounge, 1501 Sixth St., Umatilla, because she wanted to press charges against the unknown man and woman she fought with behind the city’s other strip club, Honey Bunnz Hideout, 1201 Sixth St.

10:08 a.m. - A caller reported a vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet pickup, ran her off the road last night at East Birch Creek and Indian Lake roads, Pilot Rock. Her vehicle was totaled, she said, but drivable. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

10:13 a.m. - Three males and four females fought at a house on East Wade Street, Adams.

11:49 a.m. - Marijuana and prescription medications were stolen from a vehicle on East Main in Hermiston.

12:38 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of possible dog neglect on Northwest Bailey Avenue.

1:30 p.m. - An Echo woman called police about a raccoon that appeared to stumble as it crossed West Buckley Street to her yard and climb in her tree.

2:18 p.m. - A Pendleton resident on Southeast Court Place reported a neighbor dumped “black water” on the ground from an RV and the stuff stank.

2:27 p.m. - A caller on West Ferndale Road, Milton-Freewater, asked to speak to a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy about someone “flying their homemade go-cart/plane” too close to his horses.

3:06 p.m. - A man told Pendleton police his wife hit him on the head while he was sitting on the couch.

4:02 p.m. - A vehicle was “drifting” and “spinning cookies” at Field of Dreams in Hermiston. The caller shut the gate to lock the vehicle inside to wait for police repsonse.

6:09 p.m. - A caller reported a man living in a camper at Hat Rock State Park, Hermiston, lit a small bomb in a plastic sports drink bottle.

6:45 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a landlord came to her property on Eastside Road, Milton-Freewater, and kicked the renters’ dog, ran at one of the occupants and then left.

7:05 p.m. - Pilot Rock police received a complaint about a male driving a four-wheeler at Southwest Third and Alder streets. The driver goes too fast and does not wear a helmet, a caller reported, and he is endangering children in the area.

7:38 p.m. - A caller told Stanfield police he saw a male get out of a white Jeep Cherokee with a silver gun in his hand and jump into a white Toyota Tundra. The caller also said both vehicles still were in the middle of Highway 395.

8 p.m. - A Pendleton man told his neighbors on Southeast Sixth Street not to park in front his driveway, and they yelled at him.

8:52 p.m. - A man reported someone was breaking into his house on West Columbia Lane, Hermiston, and he locked himself in the bathroom.

11:37 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a male and female fighting, screaming and yelling at Third Street and Nevada Avenue, Irrigon. The caller said someone yelled, “Stop, you’re hurting me.”

Saturday

•Pendleton police arrested Amber W. McCovey, 42, of Pendleton, on two warrants for failure to appear, for failure to pay fines, on a Umatilla Indian Reservation warrant and on tribal charges of felony theft, three counts of forgery and two counts of misdemeanor theft.

•Umatilla Indian Reservation police arrested Jose A. Tiscareno, 29, of Walla Walla, for possession of methamphetamine.

•Pendleton police arrested Darin Wayne Beals, 52, of Pendleton, for contempt of court and possession of methamphetamine.

Sunday

•Oregon State Police arrested Corey Duane Thacker, 46, of Weston, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and refusing to take an intoxication level test.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Antonio Meza Ibarra, 39, of 311 N. Elizabeth St., No. R13, Milton-Freewater, for duii.

•Pendleton police arrested Charles Lee Mason, 30, of Baker City, for felony fourth-degree assault and misdemeanor harassment, both related to domestic violence.

•Pendleton police arrested Kylie Ann West, 34, of Hermiston, on five warrants, driving while suspended/revoked, giving false information to police, and felon in possession of a weapon.

•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Elizabeth Rodriguez Sauceda, 40, on two counts of felony fourth-degree assault.

6:18 a.m. - A window was broken out in a vehicle on East Beech Avenue in Hermiston. The stereo was ripped out but left behind.

7:38 a.m. - A Milton-Freewater woman reported the theft of her vehicle from the 100 block of Northeast 13th Avenue.

8:08 a.m. - Umatilla police received a tip about a possible illegal marijuana grow and is investigating.

8:10 a.m. - Umatilla police began an investigation into a guest room break-in at the Quality Inn, 705 Willamette St., Umatilla, and theft of a TV.

9:34 a.m. - A Umatilla woman on B Street reported that Sunday night around 10:30 p.m. she caught a white female near her husband’s car with the door wide open. She said she did not report it at the time because she did not know she could make the report at night.

She added strange people started showing up at her house Sunday night after someone pushed a white car there during the weekend. That vehicle was still in front of her house, she said.

11:23 a.m. - A mother asked Pendleton police to check on the welfare of her two children, ages 8 and 10, who have been living with her estranged husband in a home without electricity since February.

11:35 a.m. - A vehicle drove through the chain link fence in the garden department at the Hermiston Wal-Mart. One store worker was struck and injured.

12:37 p.m. - A worker at the Port of Umatilla on Launch Lane and Roxbury Road, Umatilla, reported they were unloading box cars when the smell of ammonia became so strong it was nauseating. The caller asked police to check it out because he did not think anyone at the port would do anything about it.

12:59 p.m. - Two men parked a red Nissan pickup at a house on Sagebrush Road, Hermiston, then stood on a county road to cast fishing lines over a fence and into a pond on private property. That landowner said they were rude when he talked to them and asked for law enforcement to call.

1 p.m. - A man reported the theft of his binoculars from his vehicle on East Main Street, Ukiah. He said he locked it but left the windows down for his dogs.

2:35 p.m. - A resident on South Washington Street, Weston, drove their backhoe over their neighbor’s yard, leaving marks.

4:05 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an Athena man that abuses his dogs.

5:46 p.m. - Pendleton police responded to a report of an assault on Southwest First Street.

8:02 p.m. - A man wearing a DirecTV shirt and claiming to be from DirecTV knocked on a door to a home on East Jennie Avenue, Hermiston. The man had no badge or documentation, and the resident described him as “strange.” He left in a green van with “Genesis” on the side, but cops were unable to find the man.

9:38 p.m. - The manager of Vista Village, 2801 S.W. Houtama Road, Pendleton, told police a resident banged on the door and yelled for him to come out and was becoming belligerent and wanted the owner’s phone number.

10:09 p.m. - A caller told Pendleton police that two 15-year-old boys were trying to get money out of a man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

11:39 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater caller on Phillips Road reported a female showed up on his property, she appeared distraught and confused and had no shoes. She also refused to leave. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office reported arresting her but did not identify her or reveal any charges.

•Stanfield police arrested Roberto Carlos Rivera, 44, address not provided, for unauthorized use of a vehicle.

8:44 a.m. - Umatilla police responded to a fight at Clara Brownell Middle School, 1300 Seventh St., Umatilla.

10:15 a.m. - A caller with One Stop Mart, 28810 Stafford Hansel Road, Hermiston, told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office someone accessed the company’s checking account and stole at least $10,000.

10:41 a.m. - The Boardman ambulance crew received a request to check out a 62-year-old man with late-stage kidney failure. The patient ended up refusing treatment.

11:21 a.m. - A woman on Umatilla Avenue, Umatilla, asked for the city’s code enforcement officer to talk with a neighbor who never cleans up after his dog and the stench is getting worse.

12:10 p.m. - A shopper at Home Depot in Hermiston left a tablet on the roof of his vehicle and drove away. He reported the tablet could have fallen off the vehicle anywhere between Home Depot and Pendleton.

1:35 p.m. - Two cattle died when the commercial trailer they were in crashed.

Oregon State Police reported a Freightliner tractor-trailer hauling cattle was eastbound on U.S. Forest Service Road 53 when the driver rolled through the stop sign at the intersection with Highway 395, turned south and cut the corner too much, putting the trailer into a ditch and leaving the cab on two wheels in the center of the highway. The wreck killed the two cattle.

State police cited the driver, Monty L. Crum, 67, of Ione, for failure to drive within the lane and failure to obey a traffic control device.

3:18 p.m. - A man told Umatilla police he had an altercation with a disgruntled employee in Boardman.

3:48 p.m. - A woman on Homestead Lane outside Pendleton reported her neighbor’s grass clippings covered her corral, and that can make her horses sick. She said the neighbor refused to remove the grass. She asked to speak to a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy.

3:50 p.m. - A vehicle parked in the handicapped zone at Hermiston High School did not have a handicapped placard and was cited.

3:57 p.m. - A grass fire burned four acres of property near Minnehaha Lane and Highway 207 in Hermiston after two large burn piles were not properly extinguished.

4:43 p.m. - A man on Rich Lane, Hermiston, called the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office to ask about creating a private firing range on his property for handgun use.

5:32 p.m. - A caller told the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office “the Matthews kid” and another teen on Center Street, Heppner, were riding without helmets. A deputy did not find the boys.

5:48 p.m. - Someone dumped a dead young heifer at the top of the hill on York Road, Weston. A caller said the carcass had tags in both ears,

6:01 p.m. - A caller reported someone is neglecting two goats at Birch Creek Road and Taylor Lane, Pendleton. A Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy did not find the goats.

10:07 p.m. - A rollover crash on Highway 14 sent a woman to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston, with injuries.

•Hermiston police arrested Jorge Torres-Reynoso, 31, address not provided, on a warrant for failure to appear and on charges of possession of methamphetamine, identity theft and four counts of first-degree possession of a forged instrument.

10:16 a.m. - Pendleton police received an emergency call that 10 juveniles, most of them boys, were by the ice rink at Roy Raley Park and smoking either marijuana or cigarettes.

11:20 a.m. - Vehicles almost hit a donkey in the road near Central Pre-Mix of Oregon, 81830 Highway 395, Hermiston. A man reported he got the animal off the highway and corralled it.

12:53 p.m. - A Umatilla caller told police her dog got out of her yard on Fifth Street, and a neighbor tried to run her dog over. The dog owner hung up, and a dispatcher called back. The woman said the neighbor is her aunt, and she has been causing trouble. She said her aunt drove onto her property and tried to hit the dog.

1:47 p.m. - A grass fire burned 1/4 acre of property off Diagonal Road in Hermiston.

2:15 p.m. - Pendleton Public Works Department employees and the city’s code enforcement officer observed bushes, trees and grass growing over sidewalks or blocking views of traffic on Southwest 24th Street and also on Southwest Perkins Avenue.

5:47 p.m. - A Pilot Rock woman told police her ex-boyfriend is having his friends follow her and watch her, and she has a restraining order against the ex.

6:43 p.m. - A caller reported a vehicle struck a dog on the 1800 block of Sixth Street, Umatilla, which lost a leg and was running toward the police department, 300 Sixth St.

7:06 p.m. - A livestock owner on Ott Road, Hermiston, told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office the location of the suspects who stole her four calves a few weeks ago.

7:07 p.m. - A burglar made off with electronics, binoculars and $300 worth of cologne from a home on the 100 block of North Main Street, Milton-Freewater.

7:33 p.m. - Loud banging the last few days in the area of North Main Street, Milton-Freewater, according to a caller, could be covering up the sound of gunshots.

8:05 p.m. - Storms uprooted a tree and pulled down a power line on Craig Road in Hermiston.

8:14 p.m. - A large conifer tree broke at its base and fell onto another tree and a power line in Hermiston. Pacific Power shut down the power to the line and firefighters were able to trim the tree and secure the line.

10:17 p.m. - A rollover accident occurred on Interstate 82 near Hermiston. The driver of the overturned vehicle was the only occupant and refused transport to the hospital.

10:28 p.m. - Pendleton police received a request to check on the welfare of a suicidal person.

•Umatilla tribal police arrested Christopher Reuben Selam, 32, of Pendleton, for hit and run causing property damage, hit and run causing an injury, and contempt of court.

•Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Timothy Michael Large, 46, no address provided, for felony driving under the influence of intoxicants.

•Umatilla police arrested Corleone Martinez Lewis, 23, of Hermiston, for first-degree theft.

•Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jack Dale Castator, 32, of 70925 Wilson Road, Boardman, for felon in possession of a weapon and second-degree mischief.

•A Heppner man who rolled his pickup ended up in jail for driving under the influence.

An Oregon State Police trooper at about 4 p.m. responded to a crash of a Toyota Tacoma on Highway 74 near milepost 78 outside Pilot Rock. The driver, Jon David Hanna, 39, refused to give the trooper his full name or allow an emergency medical technician to check him.

The trooper arrested Hanna for duii after he “showed signs of intoxication.”

The trooper also took Hanna to a hospital, where staff checked him for injuries. The hospital cleared Hanna, and the trooper put him in the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton.

6:37 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report about a black border collie running around Grecian Heights Park that has acted aggressively toward other animals.

6:41 a.m. - A man in his backyard on Southwest Court Avenue, Pendleton, threw ladders, yelled and punched a wood fence.

7:49 — A caller reported the theft of two vehicles from Golden Valley Farms on Roper Lane, Stanfield.

9:13 a.m. - A man told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office someone broke into his house on Cactus Drive, Hermiston, while he was in jail and stole a kitchen table, desk, a bicycle and a Nook tablet.

9:25 a.m. - A customer bought beer at the Shell station at 4412 Westgate Drive, Pendleton, and an employee told him not to drink the beer on the property, but the man did it anyway. The employee called police to trespass the man.

12:57 p.m. - The Pendleton code enforcement officer took action at an abandoned house on Southwest Goodwin Place with overgrown weeds and trash in the yard.

3:51 p.m. - Pilot Rock police discovered someone scraped bark off a tree at the fire district headquarters, 415 N.E. Elm St., Pilot Rock.

4:24 - Umatilla police checked out Pheasant Ridge Street on a report of people throwing tumbleweeds into the road.

5:05 p.m. - A caller told Pendleton police a man wanted on a warrant was coaching Little League baseball at Grecian Heights Park.

6:10 p.m. - Ah spring — when the flowers blossom, the grass greens up, and one mother attacks another near the batting cages at Bob White Field, 2200 N.W. Carden Ave., Pendleton.

6:22 p.m. - And in more sporting news, a 9-1-1 caller told Pendleton police a juvenile pushed his team members at Grecian Heights Park.

11:02 p.m. - A caller told Stanfield police a couple at the Stanfield RV Park on South Main Street were fighting for a couple hours.

•Pendleton police arrested Derek Ryan Miller, 34, of Pendleton, for fourth-degree assault domestic violence.

•Oregon State Police cited Michelle Diane Grende, 36, of Lexington, for possession of morphine, a federal Schedule II drug.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Irma Lorraine Talamantes, 27, of Pendleton, for driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol).

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mark Anthony Cano, 45, and Nicole Marie Roy, 26, of Stanfield, on one count apiece of felony fourth-degree assault domestic violence.

2:56 a.m. - Milton-Freewater police began responding to what became a wave of vehicle break-ins when a man reported various items stolen from his car while it was parked in the 100 block of Southwest Fourth Avenue overnight. The car prowl reports continued into the early afternoon, with reports of items including chain saws and other items stolen in the areas of Southwest Fifth Avenue, South Elizabeth, Linden, Poplar and South Main streets.

8:59 a.m. - A diesel tank holding 40 gallons of fuel was stolen from the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center sometime between Friday afternoon and Monday morning. The tank was unbolted from a vehicle, and a large wrench and socket set was taken as well.

9:36 a.m. - A resident of South Main Street, Pendleton, reported the theft of his EBT card from his home.

9:49 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a possible suicidal subject.

10:29 a.m. - A Hermiston resident reported someone had used her debit card and taken out $200.

10:38 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received information from Columbia Basin Electric Co-Op that the phone lines for Ione, Heppner and Lexington were down.

11:41 a.m. - A caller reported a vehicle dumped garbage in the carts at Harvest Foods, 1411 Sixth St., Umatilla, then left.

1:35 p.m. - A U.S. Post Office carrier requested a welfare check on a home on Northeast Fourth Street, Hermiston, because mail and FedEx packages were piling up on the porch.

1:41 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report that someone slashed the left tires and drove nails into the sidewalls of a car parked at the United Parcel Service Customer Care Center, 28723 Westport Lane, Hermiston, while the car’s owner was working.

2:40 p.m. - A $1,200 Trek 3500 series bicycle was reported stolen from an address on Shoop Lane, Hermiston.

2:45 p.m. - A resident of Hunt Court, Athena, reported an intoxicated man came into the house and tried to take prescription medication sitting on a table. The man left through the alley by the baseball field. The caller requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy.

3:17 p.m. - A red PT Cruiser was reported in a ditch in the vicinity of Telephone Pole and Stateline roads, Milton-Freewater, but the caller said no one appeared to be injured.

3:49 p.m. - A Hermiston resident reported $650 was taken out of her Banner Bank account on May 7.

4:07 p.m. — A Hermiston resident reported $1,500 was taken out of her bank account.

4:20 p.m. - Pendleton police were called to Motel 6, 325 S.E. Nye Ave., to remove a customer who was intoxicated and entering other guests’ rooms and threatening to kill them.

4:50 p.m. - A resident of Umatilla RV Park, Sixth St., Umatilla, reported people were “putting things in his pipes, bothering him.” He requested contact from a Umatilla police officer.

5:08 p.m. - Pendleton Fire & Ambulance responded to a report of a one-vehicle motor vehicle accident one mile north of Pendleton on Highway 37. The driver, Mitchell Lee Nelson, 46, failed to negotiate a turn and drove into a field. Nelson was out of the vehicle when emergency services arrived, and refused transport to a hospital.

7:28 p.m. - Stanfield police investigated a report of two adults lying in the road near the Assembly of God Church, 350 N. Sherman St.

9:33 p.m. - A resident of DeHaven Street, Milton-Freewater, reported five males parked their silver Nissan Altima in front of his house, jumped a fence and tipped over portable toilets.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Rita Samone Hills, 39, 2021 W. Hustan, Visalia, Calif., on a felony fugitive warrant by Walla Walla Department of Corrections.

•Pendleton police arrested Byron Truman Tate, 50, address not provided, for first-degree theft and first-degree criminal trespass.

•Oregon State Police cited and released Imani Xavia Peterson, 23, Kent, Wash., for driving under the influence of intoxicants (controlled substance).

9:17 a.m. - A woman running with her dog around 7:40 a.m. on Southwest Goodwin Avenue, Pendleton, saw a dog get hit by a car at the intersection of Goodwin and Main. When she attempted to flag down a Gordon’s Electric employee so he wouldn’t also hit the dog, the driver slammed on the brakes, got out of the truck and started yelling obscenities at the caller in front of two juveniles who were in the passenger side of the vehicle. She requested contact from a Pendleton police officer.

12:00 p.m. - An employee of Garner’s Grocery & Sporting Goods, 2214 S.E. Court Ave., Pendleton, ran off a man who was standing outside the business asking passers-by for drugs and money. The caller said the man was last seen walking toward Pendleton Market, and had video of his antics if Pendleton police wanted it.

12:06 p.m. - A resident of Diagonal Road, Hermiston, requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy in regards to roosters they had nursed back to health for a neighbor who had previously participated in cock fighting. The caller said the roosters’ owner has requested that they be returned, and is concerned for the birds’ welfare.

12:14 p.m. - An older female black Labrador retriever was found wandering at Hat Rock State Park and was having difficulty walking. An employee of Fuzz Ball Pet Rescue picked up the dog and called the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office when it was discovered to be the same dog that was picked up the previous day wandering on Punkin Center Road; the dog is microchipped and was returned to the owner. The rescue operation was concerned the owner was intentionally trying to dump the dog.

12:43 p.m. - Fishing poles, a case and tackle were reported stolen from the back of a pickup at Riverfront Park, Southwest 23rd St., Hermiston.

12:59 p.m. - A resident of Tri-Harbor Landing Apartments, 210 Klickitat St., Umatilla, reported her ex-boyfriend entered her apartment, stole her wallet and urinated all over the apartment. She requested contact from a Umatilla police officer.

1:22 p.m. - An employee of the city of Pendleton attempting to turn on the water at a residence on Southwest Ladow Avenue was deterred by an aggressive opossum in the hole where the water valve is located.

1:50 p.m. - Employees of the Sub Zero Motel, S. First St., Irrigon, reported people renting one of the motel rooms destroyed the room and owe more than $900. They requested to file a complaint for criminal mischief and theft of services with the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office.

2:07 p.m. - A traveler was scammed at the Boardman Rest Area, westbound Interstate 84, by people who asked to see $100 bills and then grabbed the money and ran. Oregon State Police is investigating.

4:08 p.m. - A business on Southgate Place, Pendleton, reported a window was broken and a warehouse area broken into, but was unsure if anything was missing. And 10 minutes later Pendleton police also received a theft report from a business on Westgate who said tires were being stolen from the trailers where transfer trailers are stored.

6:25 p.m. - Stanfield police received a report of a possibly intoxicated man underneath the gazebo near the train tracks at Bard Park, Stanfield. The caller said the man had removed his shirt and thought he might remove his pants as well. Another caller at 6:59 p.m. reported the same man talking to himself and waving his hands in the air. Stanfield police were unable to find the man.

7:49 p.m. - A resident of Bird Haven Lane, Umatilla, returned home to find her house had been burglarized and a brand new 40-inch TV, still in the box, was missing. The caller said the garage door opener has been missing. She requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy.

8:03 p.m. - Pendleton Emergency Services responded to a residence on Southwest 24th Street for a man who took several creatine monohydrate supplements and was shaking and couldn’t get up.

•The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kevin Dennis Lee, 28, address not provided, on charges of felony fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence, two counts of felony strangulation and unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

12:04 a.m. - A man sitting outside of the 7-Eleven in Hermiston soliciting alcohol from customers of the store was asked to leave.

12:31 a.m. - Hermiston medics responded to a report of a stabbing. The patient had a small cut on the left shoulder and no medical care was needed.

7:51 p.m. - A Hermiston resident reported she was the victim of fraud for $140.

8:06 a.m. - A resident of North College Street, Adams, reported her vehicle was vandalized sometime Wednesday afternoon. The caller said the cargo passenger window is broken. She requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy.

8:56 a.m. - A Hermiston resident reported $1,500 was taken from her bank account in Gresham. Hermiston residents also reported fraud at 9:55 a.m., 11:24 a.m., 1:10 p.m., 3:04 p.m. and 4:46 p.m.

8:13 a.m. - Atkinson Staffing in Umatilla reported a window broken out of a company vehicle around 3 a.m.

11:20 a.m. - Pendleton Fire & Rescue were called to a two-vehicle head-on collision at the intersection of Southgate Place and Southwest 37th Street. A witness said everyone was out of the vehicles but did not know whether there were any injuries.

12:32 p.m. - A riding lawn mower and bagger were stolen from a residence on Lawson Street, Milton-Freewater. The mower’s owner named the thief and said the man told a friend he had the mower and wasn’t going to give it back.

3:00 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a man who shopped at the Second Hand Store, N. Highway 395, Hermiston, and when he returned home some of the items were missing. He said when he returned to the store to ask about the missing items he was asked to leave.

3:08 p.m. - An employee with the Umatilla Morrow Radio & Data District reported criminal mischief to the fence around the radio tower at Southeast Sixth Street and Southeast Isaacs Avenue, Pendleton.

4:49 p.m. - A resident of Riverside Mobile Home Estates, 2712 N.E. Riverside Ave., Pendleton, reported the theft of a $200 push lawn mower from his yard.

5:05 p.m. - Pendleton police were called to Pendleton Square Apartments Phase I, 300 S.W. 28th Drive, to investigate a report of a juvenile female throwing dirt into a convertible Mercedes parked in front of the caller’s apartment. The car’s owner said the girl has been an ongoing problem and talking to her father has done no good.

7:12 p.m. - A rancher found one of her bulls dead on the side of the road in the vicinity of Albee Road and South Highway 395, Ukiah. She said she found the bull “because of the ravens,” and that it was not yet bloated. The owner thinks it might have been shot, and requested a deputy meet her at the scene.

9:30 a.m. - The Cozy Corner Tavern, 198 E. Main St., Hermiston, received a fake $100 bill Thursday night.

10:31 a.m. - An employee with Oregon Department of Human Services’ division for seniors and people with disabilities in Hermiston asked for a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy to help her serve a trespass notice to a prior employee.

11 a.m. - A woman asked to talk to a Hermiston officer about the legality of operating a lemonade stand at Northeast Covey Court and Sixth Street, Hermiston.

12:45 p.m. - A resident at Brooke RV Park, 5 N.W. Eighth St., Pendleton, told police a neighbor trespasses on her property and earlier Friday entered her home.

1:57 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report that an ex-employee of Keystone RV, Pendleton, had a “book full” of identification of other employees in a desk.

4:25 p.m. - A scam artist claiming to be with the IRS tricked a Pendleton woman into buying $1,600 worth of iTune cards and providing the activation codes over the phone.

4:38 p.m. - Another example of what dispatchers sometimes endure: A man on Walla Walla River Road, Milton-Freewater, demanded to speak to a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy regarding legal advice. A dispatcher tried to ask what it was regarding, and the man snapped, “I want to talk to him. It’s none of your f******* business, really.” He refused to give any information other than his name and number.

6:33 p.m. - A 9-1-1- caller reported a man and woman were fighting in a white van at West Baggett and Sunshine lanes, Hermiston.

6:40 p.m. - Another 9-1-1 caller reported two males fought at the Pendleton Little League Park on the 1900 block of Southeast Byers Avenue.

8:32 p.m. - A resident of Walla Walla River Road, Milton-Freewater, reported a man came onto his property and would not leave. The caller said the man pushed him aside, continued onto the property, claimed it was public property and used profanity in front of the caller’s wife and daughter. The trespasser walked from River Road and threatened to assault the caller if he touched him or got in his way. The caller said this was the second time he has spoken to the man and requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy.

9:17 p.m. - A juvenile female walked on the sidewalk along West Ridgeway Avenue, Hermiston, when a dog jumped a fence and knocked her down. She and other juveniles kicked the dog to fend it off. The dog grabbed her leg but there were no puncture wounds.

9:43 p.m. - A Pendleton resident reporting receiving text messages of a sexual nature. The caller asked to talk to an officer and said some messages were “creepy” and threatening.

10:20 p.m. - A Pilot Rock man complained about a neighbor’s vehicle blocking the alleyway behind his home, and the neighbor refused to move it. The caller stated it was not an emergency, however, he called 9-1-1 anyway because he was agitated with the situation.

5:51 a.m. - An employee of NewlyWed Foods, 501 N.W. 36th St., Pendleton, reported several cars had windows broken during the night.

6:58 a.m. - A woman staying at the Tillicum Inn, 1481 Sixth St., Umatilla, told police someone slashed her vehicle’s tires during the night.

11:27 a.m. - A caller asked Pendleton police to check on a man suffering mental illness who may not be taking his medication and accused another man of killing a person who still was very much alive.

11:58 a.m. - An older white man driving a late model Dodge 2500 pickup dumped a white bag in a dumpster on West Hermiston Ave, Hermiston, according to a 9-1-1 caller, and kittens were in the bag,

5:28 p.m. - A Helix Neighborhood Watch member on Harrison Street reported the occupant of a “little silver car” claimed to work for DirecTV but had fake identification and no logo on the car. The caller also said the salesperson was now at a neighbor’s house.

6:12 p.m. - A woman on West Columbia Lane, Hermiston, called 9-1-1- because her 33-year-old son assaulted her husband.

8:34 p.m. - Those darn goats in Pendleton got out again. This time, 100-150 goats ran along the Pendleton River Parkway near Southeast 17th Street toward the Little League park. A caller about 15 minutes later reported trying to round-up the goat.

9:07 p.m. - A woman on Lind Road Hermiston, said an acquaintance took her blue 2000 Toyota Corolla several days ago and has not returned it.

10:40 p.m. - An employee of employee at Circle K, 1430 N. First St., Hermiston, stayed inside the business until a customer who threatened violence left in a dark colored compact car.

2:04 a.m. - People have been stealing electricity from a vacant house on Southwest Eighth Street, Pendleton, according to the property owner.

9:39 - A Pendleton man reported the theft of his white Dodge Stratus from Northwest 12th Street.

7:08 p.m. - A man living on Southwest First Street, Pendleton, told police his neighbor came over and stole a couple cigarettes off the porch. The caller also said the man has done this before, and he also denied the man a smoke when he asked for one.

7:44 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a hoarder on North Cabana Road, Hermiston, never lets dogs out of a kennel and has about 100 cats, plus “junk all over and the weeds are super overgrown.” The house is in such a state, the caller aid, the owner does not live there but comes over at night.

•Pendleton police arrested Gene Ray Ball, 29, of Pendleton, on warrants for felony fail to appear and violating parole and a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

•Hermiston police arrested Hector Montez, 32, of Hermiston, on three warrants and for possession of methamphetamine.

•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Gustavo Macias Montejano, 31, of Hermiston, on a warrant for felony fail to appear and on a charge of first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Saturday

•Pendleton police arrested Amy Lynn Becker, 45, of Pendleton, for assault of a public safety officer and aggravated harassment.

•Hermiston police arrested Joshua Robert Alley, 28, of Kennewick, for possession of methamphetamine and on two warrants.

•Umatilla police arrested Cristian Fabian Reyes Paez, 37, of Hermiston, for felony domestic violence fourth-degree assault.

Sunday

•Hermiston police arrested Marcos Carballido Mosso, 28, no address provided, on two warrants and for possession of methamphetamine.

•Pendleton police arrested Brandy Louis Sisneros, 23, of Pendleton, for criminal trespass with a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm, both misdemeanors.

•Hermiston police arrested Thomas D. Warsley, 19, of Hermiston, for first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, third-degree escape and theft of lost/mislaid property.

7:22 a.m. - A woman on Southeast 18th Street, Pendleton, reported at least four cows were in her yard and they were not her cows.

7:34 a.m. - A Weston man on East Mill Street reported the theft of an amplifier, two sports bags and an archery bow.

8:27 - The manager of Centerville RV Park, 213 W. Sherman St., Athena, reported someone broke in and rummaged through the office but did not know if anything was missing.

8:41 a.m. - A job site foreman reported the theft of a company-owned Nissan Xterra from Comfort Inn & Suites, 77514 S. Highway 207, Hermiston. He said someone took the car about 30 minutes ago when he left it running while he went inside the store. He also said there was no insurance on the vehicle.

8:41 a.m. - A Pendleton ambulance took a woman suffering liver failure to a hospital.

9:22 a.m. - A Pendleton woman asked for an officer to call her concerning her sister’s abusive husband.

9:24 a.m. - Pendleton emergency services responded to Southwest Athens Avenue for a man suffering a diabetic reaction. An ambulance took him to a hospital.

10:03 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received another report about suspicious characters claiming to work for satellite TV providers. This time a man on West Jefferson Street, Athena, said one Hispanic male and one white male talked to him Saturday at his home and asked for his bank card to confirm information. He said he now has four $1 withdrawals from his bank and then canceled the card.

11:28 a.m. - A male took out a handgun at Sonesta St., Umatilla, and shot at two dogs in an intersection. Law enforcement did not find the shooter.

11:43 a.m. - A man living on Schroeder Road, Pendleton, reported his ex-girlfriend stole his $165 9-mm handgun and may have thrown it into McKay Creek behind his home.

1:29 p.m. - Graffiti was reported at Hermiston businesses.

2 p.m. - An employee with St. Anthony Hospital, Pendleton, reported the theft of a hospital laptop.

2:18 p.m. - A concerned onlooker reported a man parked his car on the road going toward the Hermiston airport, got out of the vehicle to urinate, almost fell backward then started changing his clothes in the roadway.

2:57 p.m. - Pendleton police received a call about a drunk male passed out under a tree at the corner of Southeast Third Street and Court Avenue near the Circle K convenience store. The caller also asked for police because the person refused to leave the property.

4:36 p.m. - An Athena woman reported her 50-year-old son-in-law tried to choke her over the use of the car.

5:11 p.m. - Pendleton police got a call about a second person asleep or passed out, this time at Deana’s Auto Biz, 600 S.E. Court Ave., just a few blocks from the previous call. This time, though, the subject was a female.

6:24 p.m. - An Echo woman reported $1,600 missing from her bank account and that a withdrawal happened in Portland.

8:48 p.m. - Stanfield police received a report that someone four days ago took a motor home from an unknown location in Echo and moved it to another unknown location.

9:47 p.m. - A man told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office his mother was getting money from her bank to pay his brother’s drug debts otherwise “he would be killed if he didn’t pay.”

•Hermiston police arrested Daniel Lemus Macias, 24, of Hermiston, for driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended/revoked.

•Stanfield police arrested Matthew David Austin, 60, no address provided, for duii.

•Pendleton police arrested Zakkery Gene Shoop, 19, of Pendleton, for fourth-degree domestic violence assault.
