09:08 - A man reported incident between his girlfriend and another man, and now that man is threatening to beat him. The caller asked to have a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy contact the suspect to stop the harassment.

9:25 a.m. - A female fell and injured her leg on South Alder Street, Pilot Rock. A Pendleton ambulance took her to a hospital.

10:13 a.m. - A caller told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office someone dumped a lot of trash right before the “Y” in the road at Lee Street Grade and Campbell Road, Pendleton. He also said some of the trash has names on it.

10:50 a.m. - A Weston man reported a riding lawn mower has showed up on his property and he does not know who owns it.

11:38 a.m. - Umatilla police received a complaint about a camp fire north of Umatilla bridge.

1:11 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater resident on Highway 339 reported the theft of a $400 bicycle and a $250 bicycle.

1:36 p.m. - A caller told Pendleton police he sent $380 via Moneygram to a person in Bend for concert tickets, but now is unable to contact the person for the tickets.

1:45 p.m. - One person was injured when a garbage truck went through the bridge at Upper Rhea Creek Road, Heppner. Multiple agencies responded, including the local hazmat team out of Hermiston. Heppner Ambulance took one male to Pioneer Memorial Hospital, Heppner.

2:41 p.m. - Someone stole some of the prescription medications belonging to a 9-year-old Pendleton girl and a full bottle of her mother’s medication.

3:23 p.m. - Two juvenile boys fought in the area of Southwest Goodwin Lane, Pendleton. Police talked to each and notified their parents.

4:47 p.m. - A Hermiston-area caller on Northwest 15th Street reported someone broke into the house and stole multiple items, including guns.

5:21 p.m. - A Boardman woman found one empty bag and another bag full of bullets on Parkside Road. She wanted someone from the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to look at them.

6:51 p.m. - A male fell in the area of the Umatilla County Justice Center, 4700 N.W. Pioneer Place, Pendleton, and hit his head and may have broken a foot.

•Oregon State Police cited one 17-year-old and three 16-year-olds, all males from Walla Walla, for possession of 0.975 ounces of marijuana by persons under 21 years of age.

Police released the teens to their parents.

10:13 a.m. - A resident of the first block of Southwest 12th Avenue, Milton-Freewater, reported the theft of an air compressor, a chain saw and a tool box.

10:15 a.m. - An employee of Sinclair, 100 N. Main St., Boardman, reported a male in his late 20s or early 30s opened a soda and refused to pay for it, and he was very intoxicated.

10:36 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a brown bear in the area of Northwest Third Street, Pilot Rock. Officers were unable to locate the bear.

12:52 p.m. - A man reported a 19-foot travel trailer stolen from Keylock Storage, 1220 Airport Road, Pendleton.

2:54 p.m. - A resident of South First Street, Irrigon, reported the theft of elk horns from his shop.

3:52 p.m. - After receiving a report of suspicious activity in the area, a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy recovered a stolen vehicle from the vicinity of Southeast Park Place, Irrigon. The deputy said the vehicle’s plates also didn’t match the vehicle.

3:55 p.m. - A resident of Tri-Harbor Landing Apartments, 210 Klickitat St., Umatilla, reported the theft of a vehicle he had just purchased. The caller said all the paperwork and the license plates were with the car. He requested contact at his apartment.

6:39 p.m. - An employee of Koehler Auto Repair Service, 1200 Airport Road, Pendleton, reported an abandoned U-Haul truck that had been towed to the repair service had been stolen sometime during the day. The caller named a possible suspect.

7:33 p.m. - Boardman police received a call from a resident of Marshall Loop who said they returned home and found a strange car in their driveway, and a man sleeping in their carport.

Thursday

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ernesto Ibanez, 49, address not provided, on a felony fugitive warrant and for possession of methamphetamine.

•Pendleton police arrested Damian Thomas Anderson, 20, address not provided, for possession of methamphetamine.

•A Hermiston resident called the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office and said a woman was trying to sell him morphine pills over the phone. The caller said he was still waiting for a restraining order to be served on the woman. Kathleen Anne Murphy, 41, address not provided, was served with three restraining orders at 1:06 p.m., and violated one of the orders at 3:41 p.m. by contacting the man again. She was cited and released by the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office, and violated the restraining order again at 4:45 p.m. She was then arrested and lodged at the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton.

Friday

•Pendleton police arrested Damian Thomas Anderson, 20, address not provided, for possession of methamphetamine after a resident of Northwest Bailey Avenue called from a locked bedroom to report someone was under his living room couch.

5:51 a.m. - An Irrigon woman reported the theft of her black Honda Civic from Southeast Fourth Street.

9:19 a.m. - A caller told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office a woman he knows told him her boyfriend beat her last night and he could hear the boyfriend screaming during the call.

12:25 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a former employee of Space Age Fuel, 77522 Highway 207, Hermiston, is transporting stolen license plates.

7:51 p.m. - A woman told Pendleton police she was afraid to go home because a male there shoved her and threatened to harm her and himself. She said the male even talked of shooting someone.

10:15 p.m. - A woman on Gun Club Lane, Hermiston, reported someone was in her house and she did not know who it was. Law enforcement responded.

11:44 p.m. - Two men fought outside a trailer home at Sunset Trailer Court on Umatilla River Road, Umatilla. A witness reported one male choked the other, who also was bleeding from the nose. They went inside a home but continued to fight.

12:33 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a second-hand report of people driving by a house on Daytona Lane, Hermiston, while “flashing a gun.” The caller also said he was just at the house and saw people outside but could not give descriptions.

12:49 a.m. - One male knocked out another outside Crabby’s Underground Saloon, 220 S.W. First St., Pendleton. A man who called 9-1-1 reported someone told him the suspect got out of a pickup, knocked out the guy, got back in the truck and left, and the victim was on the sidewalk in front of the bar. The victim refused an ambulance ride.

1:04 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of gunshots at Northeast 10th Street and East Punkin Center Road, Hermiston.

1:51 a.m. - An Irrigon man reported he was drunk and asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to arrest him. Law enforcement took the man to his home.

2:03 a.m. - A Pendleton woman told police her fiancée just got home and stated he was assaulted at Crabby’s.

5:08 a.m. - A semi driver reported someone broke into the trailer while he was showering at Space Age Fuel, 77522 Highway 207, Hermiston, and stole cheese.

7:32 - A caller found a skinned and butchered deer on the edge of Stewart Creek Road and Northeast Fourth Street, Pilot Rock.

2:53 p.m. - Pendleton residents burning on Northeast Riverside Avenue had a confrontation with a male after material from the fire drifted into the neighbor’s yard. The burners told police the male “made threats and yelled obscenities at them.”

3:10 p.m. - Pendleton friends were playing basketball at Lincoln Elementary School, 107 N.W. 10th St., when a 12-year-old schoolmate with a BB gun shot one of them. The boy reported he suffered a bruise on his left leg but was otherwise was not injured.

9:17 p.m. - Police on Highway 730 and Interstate 84 were looking for someone in a red Ford Astro van who was pointing a firearm with a laser at passing vehicles.

10:06 p.m. - At least two people shined spot lights on deer on property off Steen Road, Milton-Freewater.

8:43 a.m. - A Milton-Freewater man reported the theft of his 1995 Honda Civic from the 200 block of Northeast Seventh Avenue. And about two hours later a second man reported the theft of his 2004 Chevrolet Impala from the 700 block of Northeast 11th Avenue, Milton-Freewater.

12:23 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report of four boys missing from their foster parents’ house on Northwest Carden Avenue.

12:40 a.m. - Another man told Pendleton police he was the victim of assault about 30 minutes ago at Crabby’s Underground Saloon, Pendleton.

3:26 a.m. - Umatilla police warned people at Marina Apartments on Second Street to quiet down their loud party.

12:05 p.m. - Drivers on a four-wheeler and two dirt bikes were “tearing up the road and adjoining properties” on Baggett Lane, Hermiston, according to a member of the Neighborhood Watch.

12:37 p.m. - A Umatilla caller told police a neighbor was being “very rude and had vulgar things displayed in his window.”

7:10 p.m. - A Pilot Rock caller reported a neighbor on Southwest Delwood Street was burning garbage and “stinking up the neighborhood.” The caller wanted the fire out and said this was a “no burn” day.

11:43 p.m. - A caller with Tonya’s House, the Pendleton nonprofit organization that helps an at-risk youth, reported two clients ran away.

Friday

•A woman at the Pendleton McDonalds on Southgate called for police at 9:33 a.m. because of a woman threatening her. Pendleton officers arrived and arrested Anna Rachel Orton, 69, of Pendleton, for second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault of a public safety officer. This is her second arrest this month on similar charges.

•A Pendleton man faces charges of rape.

Pendleton police arrested Cody Cyle Boyer, 24, on a warrant for two counts each of second-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse and booked him into the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton. Court records show a grand jury indicted Boyer in early December for raping and abusing one victim. Boyer pleaded not guilty to the charges Friday in circuit court, Pendleton, and Judge Lynn Hampton set his bail at $150,000.

•Pendleton police arrested Phillip C. Bill, 46, of 45301 Lloyd Road, Pendleton, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Saturday

•Pendleton police arrested Sheldon Gerald Leonard, 27, of 23 S.E. 10th St., Pendleton, for duii, driving while suspended and refusing an intoxication level test.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested David Jose Tiscareno, 33, of 608 N.E. Fifth Ave., Milton-Freewater, for telephonic harassment and possession of methamphetamine.

Sunday

•Pendleton police arrested Gregory Alan Bass, 35, of Pendleton, for possession of methamphetamine, failure to report as a sex offender and endangering the welfare of a minor.

9 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received another complaint about the homeless camp along Umatilla River Road near Interstate 82, Umatilla. A caller said the camp residents moved their tents and belongings closer to the road and was concerned about the camp growing and the possibility of water pollution.

9:55 a.m. - A Boardman woman reported a man was pounding on the outside of her trailer on Summit Lane and threatening to beat her. Morrow County sheriff’s deputies advise the man to stay home.

10:09 a.m. - A Umatilla man reported an assault. He said a neighbor hit him it in the chest with both hands, but he did not need medical attention.

5:44 p.m. - A Heppner resident on South Main Street reported some neighbors shot pellet guns or BB guns, and his dog was scared as though they shot it.

6:06 p.m. - A caller on West Willow View Drive, Heppner, reported seeing something fall from the sky that looked like two “fire balls” southwest of Hermiston. Law enforcement was not able to find them.

6:37 a.m. - And another caller told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office about the homeless camp at Umatilla River Road and Interstate 82, Umatilla. This caller said the campers have not come onto his property, but one transient walked by with a double-bitted ax, which makes her uncomfortable.

7:48 p.m. - A Umatilla resident on Carolina Road told police the back door was open when she got home and it looks like someone tried to get in, though nothing seemed to be missing.

8:50 p.m. - A woman blared the horn in a car at One Stop Mart, 28810 Stafford Hansell Road, Hermiston, and screamed and yelled at employees. A caller said she may have been angry about having to wait in line to get gas.

•Oregon State Police arrested Asterio Pelaez Castro, 26, address not provided, for failure to display a driver’s license, felony driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving while suspended or revoked.

•The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people on warrants during a welfare check at 3:45 p.m. at 150 S.E. Wyoming Ave., Irrigon. One arrest was for second-degree theft, a misdemeanor. The other was of Jason James Abbott, 24, for unlawful delivery of an ounce or more of marijuana. Then the sheriff’s office also arrested him on probable cause charges of violating probation, reckless driving, attempt to flee police and recklessly endangering another.

6:51 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s office received a report of a vacant two-story house at Rayborn Road and Highway 204, Weston, where it appears 15 cats and an old dog have been abandoned.

7:25 a.m. - A resident of Southeast Eighth Street, Pendleton, reported that the sidewall of one of his tires was cut sometime during the weekend.

12:40 p.m. - A resident of Northeast Chart Street, Hermiston, reported her mother’s unemployment check was stolen from her mailbox sometime in January. The caller requested contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy.

12:52 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a woman having been beaten with a belt at an unknown location in Pendleton.

3:14 p.m. - A burglar took mortgage papers, keys and more after breaking into a residence on Southeast 10th Street, Pendleton, on Saturday night. The homeowner requested contact from a Pendleton police officer.

3:35 p.m. - A resident of County Road, Milton-Freewater, reported someone let his rabbits out of their hutches sometime during the day. He said three of the seven are still missing, and requested phone contact from a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy.

7:16 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of mailboxes broken into on Bensel Road, Hermiston. The caller said someone pried open two doors on a secure box, took the mail, and then bent the doors.

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jose M. Cortez Ibarra, 37, address not provided, for unlawful delivery of methamphetamine.

•The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Gloria Inez Rodriguez, 48, David Brian Taylor, 49, and Amy Lee Riley, 34, addresses not provided, each on a felony charge of conspiracy. Riley also was cited for failure to pay fines, a misdemeanor.

•Hermiston police arrested Cesar Guzman-Madrigal, 25, address not provided, for possession of methamphetamine and two counts of delivery of meth.

7:44 a.m. - A man reported the theft of his 1997 Honda Civic from the 600 block of Pierce Street, Milton-Freewater.

8:41 a.m. - A caller told Pendleton police her mother will not give her her Social Security card or birth certificate.

9:33 a.m. - A Hermiston man reported someone stole and deposited his father-in-law’s retirement check.

11:16 a.m. - A man swore and used abusive language at an employee at Comfort Inn & Suites, 77514 Highway 207, Hermiston, during a dispute about a mess near the man’s black Honda car.

11:20 a.m. - Staff at the Pendleton Public Library, 502 S.W. Dorion Ave., reported finding a wallet, an iPhone and identification at the library, all from different people.

2 p.m. - A Pendleton man reported he was walking at Southwest Goodwin Avenue and Ninth Street when a Dachshund bit him and tore his pants.

2:33 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a dog that killed chickens and ducks in a neighborhood on Walla Walla River Road, Milton-Freewater, and now was killing and eating a chicken by Grove Elementary School, 129 S.E. 15th St., Milton-Freewater.

2:57 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a guy riding a moped or motorcycle on the field and track by Pendleton High School. The rider was gone before police arrived.

2:58 p.m. - A staggering man bleeding from his lip shouted at cars as they drove along Umatilla River Road at the bridge by Umatilla. Law enforcement was not able to find the man.

3:24 p.m. - Juveniles walked on the outside of the bridge on Northwest 10th Street, Pendleton.

3:51 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of horse neglect on Mission Road next to Elizabethan Manor, Pendleton.

3:56 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a cat in a tree for the past two-and-half days on South Main Street.

4:02 p.m. - A man with a metal detector and shovel dug holes at Til Taylor Park, Pendleton.

4:17 p.m. - A owner of Pendleton Pupcakes, 148 S. Main St., wanted to speak to an officer about dog feces in front of her business.

5:29 p.m. - A dog barking all day on Southwest Isaac Avenue, Pendleton, prompted a caller to ask about signing a complaint.

7:22 p.m. - And a Stanfield woman told police her dog got into the neighbors’ yard on Willow Drive, but she was too afraid to go ask them if she can retrieve her dog.

8:04 p.m. - A silver Honda raced another silver car along Southwest Dorion Avenue, cut off people and almost hit cars near Seventh Street. Police did not find the racers.

7:51 a.m. - The Pendleton driver of a black Jeep Grand Cherokee drew a complaint. A caller said the female in the Jeep “every day speeds” from the trailer park on Southwest 28th Street and takes the dirt road shortcut in front of Pendleton Square Apartments, 300 S.W. 28th St., to get to Southwest Goodwin Avenue where the school bus stops.

7:59 a.m. - A caller told Stanfield police that around midnight she saw a 200-pound cougar run across the road at North Main Street and East Harding Avenue.

8:44 a.m. - A caller reported people inside the burned-out house at 80625 Lorraine Ave., Hermiston. The yellow caution tape is still on the property, the caller said, from when the house caught fire the night of Feb. 6. The caller also said a male was there now and burning some material.

9:07 a.m. - A Umatilla resident reported she was online and discovered her identity was stolen through a scam.

10:01 a.m. - Twenty-five gallons of lubrication oil spilled at Union Pacific Railroad’s Hinkle Locomotive Service and Repair Facility near Hermiston. An employee told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office the company was contacting an environmental specialist to respond.

12:15 a.m. - Someone made off with $3,000 in tools from a work truck at D&B Supply, 850 Southgate, Pendleton.

1:41 p.m. - A Pendleton man reported the theft of a 9-mm Springfield pistol from his home on Southwest Riverview Drive.

2:04 p.m. - A Umatilla woman told police someone dumped a dog by her home at Marina Apartments and it keeps jumping into her car.

2:43 p.m. - A Pendleton real estate agent told police a former client is making accusations against her and trying to make her pay him a large sum of money to keep him from suing her. She asked to speak to an officer at her place of business.

3:21 p.m. - A Hermiston man reported he lost $2,000 in a scam to someone claiming to be his grandson who needed to get out of jail.

4:17 p.m. - Two blond girls about 8-10 years old appeared to try and grab a train as it went by at Southeast 17th Street and Court Place, Pendleton. A caller with Union Pacific Railroad told police the train engineer reported seeing the girls along with a nearby maroon pickup. The railroad also wanted Pendleton police to call back after an officer checked the area.

4:46 p.m. - Three dogs attacked a wife and husband as they rode bicycles on Winesap Road, Milton-Freewater. The couple wanted to press charges against the dogs’ owner.

6:33 p.m. - A property manager reported someone abandoned a kitten at a rental on Southeast Seventh Street, Pendleton. She also said she found a package in the freezer labeled “drugs/venison” and asked for an officer to meet her.

7:04 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a man kicking and hitting his dog on Southwest Olson Avenue.

8:09 p.m. - Juveniles shot Air Soft guns at a car at Southwest 39th and 41st streets, Pendleton. The driver of that car told police the youth were in a dark green Toyota Camry or Honda, passed him, then shot at his car. The pellets struck his hand and forehead, he said, but he was not hurt. He also identified one of the teenage shooters.

•Umatilla Tribal Police Department arrested John Benjamin Vigil, 45, of Pendleton, for witness tampering, possession of methamphetamine and contempt of court.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Jesus Saldana, 22, of 1005 N.E. Third Ave., Milton-Freewater, for identity theft, second-degree theft and possession of methamphetamine.

•Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Steven Noble Beach, 48, of Walla Walla, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

7:31 a.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office warned a Heppner resident about allowing a dog to run free after a woman said she was walking on Southeast Gilmore Street when two dogs came her and she hit one with her walking stick.

8:08 a.m. - A large rooster showed up in the back yard of a Pendleton resident at Southwest Second Street and Isaac Avenue.

8:09 a.m. - Two dogs charged a third and pinned it on Southwest 44th Street, Pendleton, which prompted the owner of the lone dog to call police.

9:44 a.m. - Video surveillance showed a male has been staying overnight near the garbage container at Columbia Bank, 2101 S.W. Court Place, Pendleton.

11:48 a.m. - A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy warned an Irrigon resident on Northeast Ninth Street to keep his dog under control after a neighbor reported the pet could be aggressive.

12:54 p.m. - Three dogs attacked a lone dog that belongs to a resident on Southeast 14th Street, Irrigon. And again a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy talked to dog owners.

2:19 p.m. - A man living on Depot Lane, Irrigon, reported neighbors shot guns in his direction. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy told shooters not to fire toward the road.

3:36 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater woman on the 200 block of Northeast 13th Street reported someone about two weeks ago stole money and wine.

4:47 p.m. - A Pendleton woman told police she lost $1,800 in a Craigslist.com car scam.

5:37 p.m. - A man asked the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office to check on a neighbor on the 42000 block of George Street, Rieth, after hearing a gun shot there.

1:54 a.m. - An owner of Crabby’s Underground Saloon, 220 S.W. First St., Pendleton, asked police to walk through the bar because several might start a fight.

7:01 a.m. - The Clean Spot car wash on Switzler Avenue, Umatilla, was the site of a break-in.

10:08 a.m. - A man reported someone dumped a trailer with four-wheeler parts in it Sturgis Street, Hermiston.

11:30 a.m. - An angler at the “Cliffs” on the Umatilla River at Rieth reported a man arrived in a 1980s Ford Bronco, started a fire, drank, then left while the fire still burned. The fisherman said he put it out and that the Bronco is in Rieth.

1:03 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater woman reported her granddaughter stole her debit card and there was $3,000-$4,000 missing out of her account.

4:50 p.m. - A renter told Pendleton police her landlord was intoxicated, drove to her residence and was belligerent and threatening to kick her out.

8:16 p.m. - A Hermiston-area man told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office he had contact on Facebook with a woman from New York who sent him an “exposed picture,” so he sent one of himself in return, and she then threatened to show his family unless he paid her money.

10:28 p.m. - An Echo caller reported a female “lost her mind and has assaulted both mother and father.”

10:32 p.m. - A Umatilla caller reported the theft of a red 2003 Ford Focus from Meharry Manor on Sixth Street.

11:53 p.m. - Folks at a party got into a fight and handed off a baby to the person who called police at Columbia Crest Apartments, 1500 Second St., Umatilla.

1:14 a.m. - One of the owners of Crabby’s Underground Saloon, 220 S.W. First St., Pendleton, reported eight to 10 people were involved in a disturbance.

6:01 - A man on methamphetamine in Athena called for an ambulance because he could not breathe.

8:34 a.m. - Milton-Freewater Ranch & Home, 85342 Highway 11, reported a break-in on the property and theft of a log splitter.

9:32 a.m. - Mischief-makers threw eggs at a home on the first block of Northeast 14th Street, Milton-Freewater.

11:48 a.m. - A Heppner man reported the person he had an altercation with last week now is calling and threatening him.

2:28 p.m. - A caller on Southeast Eighth Street, Pendleton, reported someone broke into a vehicle and stole $10 cash and a $250 pair of shoes.

3:28 p.m. - A Pendleton man told an Oregon State Police trooper he found a pistol on the shoulder of Interstate 84. State police took the gun for safekeeping.

3:47 p.m. - An Irrigon man reported someone stole his neighbor’s tires and wheels from their vehicle on Southeast 13th Street.

5:02 p.m. - A 20-year-old man may have suffered a concussion after a soccer ball struck his head while he was at Irrigon Elementary School, Irrigon. An ambulance took him to a local hospital.

Friday

•Oregon State Police cited Edward Lee Crihfield Jr., 61, of Kiowa, Colorado, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, in this case, probably marijuana. A trooper stopped Crihfield for traffic violations at 7:27 a.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 84 near milepost 190, about 17 miles west of Pendleton. The trooper noticed a strong odor of pot, according to state police, and Crihfield had marijuana in his lap and on the passenger seat.

He failed a sobriety test, so the trooper took Crihfield to the Umatilla County Justice Center, Pendleton, where he provided a blood-alcohol level of 0 percent and decided not to finish a police drug exam before the trooper sent him out the door.

•Pendleton police arrested Richard Brian Wheeler, 52, no address provided, for two counts of reckless endangering and one count each of reckless driving, second-degree disorderly conduct and first-degree mischief (not vandalism).

7:56 a.m. - Pendleton police received a call for assistance to deal with a 14-year-old girl who was “freaking out,” yelling and throwing things because her mother would not let her walk to school.

8:28 a.m. - A Milton-Freewater woman reported the theft of a computer from her vehicle on the 100 block of Southeast Fifth Avenue.

9:19 a.m. - A caller told Pendleton police she was living out of town and asked friends to take care of her cat, but now she learned they are abusing the pet.

10:51 a.m. - A student at Pilot Rock Elementary, Vern McGowan Drive, Pilot Rock, broke a forearm.

10:48 a.m. - A female with short dark hair and wearing a dark colored jacket while on Southwest 30th Street, Pendleton, kicked her dog until it ran away. A witness said she even kicked so hard she fell down. Police did not find her.

11:36 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of possible horse neglect at Highway 395 and Heavens Lane, Pendleton.

11:42 a.m. - A woman told Pendleton police she was walking on Southwest 18th Street at the south end of Bedford Bridge when “a kid started yelling profanity at her.” She also said this is an ongoing situation.

1:15 p.m. - A caller at the Heppner Elementary School, Heppner, asked to speak to the school resource officer about “second-hand marijuana exposure.”

2:09 p.m. - An Irrigon woman reported putting a vehicle into storage in September 2014 and has been trying to get it back for six months but has not been successful. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

5:32 p.m. - A young girl lit weeds on fire with a lighter outside a rental property on Southwest Sixth Street, Pendleton.

6:41 p.m. - A man reported he found an elk carcass with guts underneath at about 5:30 p.m. on the north side of the bridge off Birch Creek near Humbert Lane, Milton-Freewater, and also a dead heeler dog inside an orange sleeping bag. He also said he took photos and saw boot marks around the site.

6:42 p.m. - Two males assaulted a third in front of Pendleton Market, 2101 S.E. Court Ave., Pendleton, then took off.

7:35 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a 13-year-old in Irrigon who threatened to use a pocket knife to kill a 9-year old and then commit suicide.

8:12 p.m. - California State University Police, Long Beach, California, asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to contact a woman about a gun she once had. The woman told the sheriff’s office someone stole it back in 1991 or 1992.

•Oregon State Police arrested Andre John McBride, 30, of Pilot Rock, for possession of methamphetamine.

•Pendleton police arrested Scott MacFadden Allen, 58, no address provided, for two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.

12:42 a.m. - The owner of Wallace Drilling, Hermiston, told law enforcement he was out of the area, called his shop and a female answered, but no one should have been there. He asked her what she was doing there, he said, and she told him, “I can get in here anytime I want.” The owner said he would pursue charges for anyone police found in the business.

4:01 a.m. - A 20- or maybe 30-something white male at South Main Street and Southeast Emigrant Avenue, Pendleton, acted strange, according to a caller, reached for “things in the air” when nothing was there and stumbled around.

12:10 p.m. - An employee of JCPenny Co., 124 S. Main St., Pendleton, reported someone broke the locks on the store’s back door.

12:47 p.m. - A 9-1-1 caller reported a male was hitting a female with a walking stick at the Crossroads Truck Stop, 2020 Highway 730, Umatilla. The female wore a shawl, the assailant was in a hooded sweatshirt, and the caller also left the scene.

2:46 p.m. - A man reported he brought a flatbed dump truck to a mechanic on Couse Creek Road, Milton-Freewater, but the mechanic did not want it on his property and threatened to shoot him if he came back.

2:49 p.m. - City of Weston staff asked the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office to send a deputy because of some “tweekers” at South Water and East High streets.

3:54 p.m.- Two teens wearing shorts and backpacks knocked on doors on Southeast Fifth Street, Pilot Rock, and asked for someone’s grandparents, but when no one answered they acted suspiciously. Police did not find them.

4:02 p.m. - A Umatilla man reported the theft of a black 14-foot-long Premium single axle utility trailer with three mounted royal blue portable toilets and two hand washing stations.

4:03 p.m. - A FedEx driver asked Umatilla police to check on a home on Naches Court after he tried since last Friday to deliver a package there, and someone takes the notices he leaves but no one seems home.

4:43 p.m. - A Pendleton woman told police her next door neighbor on Tutuilla Road pulled into her driveway, hit her car, left and then pulled into her house, causing a little damage. She said she tried to talk with the man, but he bolted into his house.

4:44 p.m. - A debate coach from Idaho State University was at a Pendleton hotel and asked for an officer to talk to one of the students about some strange activity he was doing. Police had no luck finding who to talk to.

6:07 a.m. - Maria Velasco of Velasco Used Cars, 80596 Highway 395, Hermiston, called 9-1-1 and reported someone broke into the office and stole all of the keys to all of the vehicles on the lot and also took a red 2008 Dodge Charger.

11:02 a.m. - A Boardman woman reported a burglary at her home on Hilltop Road.

11:43 a.m. - A man told the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office he bought a car from a Milton-Freewater dealership, but when he tried to put the title into his name the state licensing division told him no one had signed off on the original title. He reported he spoke with the dealer about it, who stated “the deal was done and to take him to court.”

2:04 p.m. - A man reported someone is dumping garbage and household materials on his property at Canal Road between East Highland Extension and Feedville Road, Hermiston.

3:40 p.m. - A semitrailer caught fire coming down Interstate 84’s notorious Cabbage Hill near Pendleton.

The 50-year-old driver from South Carolina was going about 20 mph with the rig’s compression release engine brake on — or Jake Brake — when he noticed noises and smoke, according to Oregon State Police. He stopped on the shoulder of the highway, and others stopped to help him put out a fire in the engine compartment.

Their efforts, though, were not enough. The fire reached the cab and destroyed it.

The trailer, which contained barrels of “food product,” state police reported, only sustained minor damage to wiring and brake lines.

Police closed down both lanes of the westbound freeway for about 45 minutes to an hour while firefighters doused the blaze, and a Pendleton contractor responded to clean up diesel fuel.

The semi driver was uninjured.

16:50 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater woman reported she had a county surveyor determine the true property line, she has the paperwork to prove it and is going ahead with cutting the trees for the next few days. Her neighbor, though, has been unhappy about it, she said, and law enforcement should be aware.

11:35 a.m. - An employee of the Taj Food Mart, 84802 Highway 11, Milton-Freewater, reported receiving a fake $100 bill.

Thursday

•The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after a caller at 7:12 a.m. reported a break-in and burglary at a shop at 74261 Homestead Lane, Lexington, belonging to Terra Poma Farms. The caller said the suspect loaded items into a pickup, and while there was a Spanish language barrier, workers detained the man.

Deputies arrived and arrested Erick Fernandez Marquez, 24, no address provided, and booked him into the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, for second-degree burglary, breaking into a vehicle, second-degree trespass and carrying a concealed weapon.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Rick Eugene Cooper, 50, of 109 S.E. East St., Prescott, Washington, for possession of methamphetamine and on a Umatilla County warrant for failure to appear.

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew Orvis Paeschke, 50, and Jeanne Lee Melton, 41, no addresses available, for possession of methamphetamine.

4:33 p.m. - A woman on Baxter Road, Hermiston, reported a man took two handguns from her home on Feb. 22 and she has not been able to get them back. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.

4:56 p.m. — The owner of a Pendleton house on the 300 block of Southwest Court Avenue told police a male and female who he did not allow on the property both pulled their pants down as if they were going to urinate.

10:22 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of people with flashlights in the First United Methodist Church, 325 S.E. Second St.

10:23 p.m. - High school-aged drivers sped through a parking lot at Community Park, 1200 S.W. 44th St., Pendleton, to try and “jump” the speed bumps.

12:11 a.m. - A caller reported vehicles racing at 80-90 mph on Diagonal Boulevard and North Ott Road, Hermiston.

12:28 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report of residents on Southeast 10th Street screaming and hitting each other.

12:57 a.m. - A woman reported a man was helping her husband move belongings to a Stanfield storage shed when police arrested her husband and the helper then took her things. She also said she called and texted him but he replied she was harassing him.

1:20 a.m. - A caller from Wallace Drilling, 3103 S. Ott Road, Hermiston, reported an employee’s girlfriend may have stolen another employee’s laptop computer.

1:50 a.m. - A Umatilla woman told police her ex-boyfriend kicked in her door on Tyler Avenue and she forced him out. She called police at 9:55 a.m. and reported someone slashed tires on her vehicle.

4:13 a.m. - A woman told police someone was trying to break into her house on Southwest Sixth Street, Pendleton.

4:18 a.m. - An Irrigon woman on South First Street reported a theft of guns.

10:56 a.m. – A local wheat farmer and attorney reported the theft of a brown 1989 GMC full-size crew cab pickup from the area of 75000 Stage Gulch Road, Pendleton.

11:57 a.m. - A member of the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office gave a man a ride home after a caller reported walking by a man who didn’t move while on the ground behind the car wash on the 100 block of Southwest Front Street, Boardman.

1:27 p.m. - A male and female stole a black 2000 Chevrolet 3/4-ton pickup from a home on Highway 334, Pendleton.

4:10 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received another call about the dead dog in an orange sleeping bag where Birch Creek Road, Milton-Freewater, crosses the Walla Walla River.

4:22 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a poached elk on Highway 37 off Nelson Creek near Pendleton.

4:29 p.m. - Barking dogs prompted action from a Heppner man. He told the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office the dogs bark day and night at a man’s house on Southeast Gilmore Street, so he took video of the barking at different times of the day over three weeks. He said he would like someone to quiet the dogs and did not need to talk to a deputy.

7:39 p.m. - A Pendleton resident extinguished an illegal burn on South Main Street, Pendleton.

9 p.m. - One heavy set male and one slimmer male damaged a bathroom at Crossroads Truck Stop, 2020 Highway 730, Umatilla, before leaving in a gray Honda Accord with Washington plates.

9:02 p.m. - A driver reported someone on the Goad Road overpass threw items onto Interstate 84, Pendleton, which hit her vehicle, though it may not have caused damaged.

9:47 - A caller from Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution, Pendleton, reported seeing someone in a “hazmat suit” walk on the railroad tracks near the prison.

11:42 p.m. - Someone in a slow-going vehicle shined a spotlight on houses on Powerline Road, Hermiston.

12:50 a.m. - Police looked for but did not find a possibly intoxicated male who stood on planters at Main Street Market, 255 S. Main St., Stanfield, and dodged in and out of traffic.

1:23 a.m. - Residents on West Hermiston Avenue, Hermiston, woke up and called 9-1-1 because three males fought in a front yard.

2 a.m. - A woman reported someone shot out her window and then a vehicle left at Vista Mobile Home Park, 1800 N.E. 10th St., Hermiston,

8:12 a.m. - A caller complained to Pendleton police about 10-12 members of the downtown CrossFit gym running westbound in the middle of Dorion Avenue, which is a one-way street eastbound.

8:50 a.m. - Two Doberman Pinschers attempted to attack a man on Southwest 12th Drive, Pendleton, as he got into his vehicle.

11:16 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a male riding a bike and pulling what looks like a covered wagon in the middle of downtown Main Street.

11:55 a.m. - A Boardman woman reported someone attacked her the previous night and took her pills, wallet, purse and more.

1:52 p.m. - A father told the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office his 16-year-old daughter reported her mother’s boyfriend pushed her and the mother near Heppner, and the mother hit her head but seemed fine. The daughter, though, wanted to speak to a deputy.

3:29 p.m. - A Pendleton mother told police a male has been harassing her and threatening her daughter on Facebook.

5:47 p.m. - A guest at Motel 6, 325 S.E. Nye Ave., Pendleton, tried to kick down a door.

6:12 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office checked into a possible case of a felon in possession of a weapon.

7:37 p.m. - Pendleton police received a request from the police department of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, to help find a person connected to an attempted homicide case. Police did not find the person in the area.

Friday

•Pendleton police arrested Christine G. Richardson, 26, of Walla Walla, on a warrant and for possession of methamphetamine.

•Umatilla Tribal Police Department arrested Jason Arthur Butler, 42, of Pendleton, for two counts each of harassment, disorderly conduct, assault, menacing and recklessly endangering another, all misdemeanors.

•Hermiston police arrested Noe Calderon Sanchez, 22, of Hermiston, for second-degree assault and on a warrant for failure to appear.

•Oregon State Police cited a 16-year-old Pendleton girl for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana while under the age of 21.

Saturday

•Pendleton police arrested Richard L. Bohna, 26, of 62441 McElligot Road, Ione, for duii.

•Oregon State Police arrested Travis Andrew Clack, 22, of Umatilla, for duii.

•Oregon State Police at 7:57 p.m. received a report of a denial of a gun buy at Hodgen Handguns, 71620 Valley View Drive, Pendleton. A trooper responded and cited Drew William Tachella, 40, of Pendleton, for false swearing and unlawful purchase of a firearm.

•An Oregon State Police trooper caught two racers for going more than 100 mph.

Trooper Marcus Burt was observing traffic on Interstate 84 at milepost 200 a few miles east of Pendleton when two vehicles at 8:24 p.m. zoomed by. The first, a two-door Volkswagen, was going 100 mph, according to state police, and the second, a Dodge pickup, was at 117.

The trooper chased, and the driver in the Volkswagen hit the brakes in front of the pickup, nearly causing a crash. The trooper stopped the car and waved for the pickup to stop, but it did not. The trooper, though, later caught up with that driver.

Abdulaziz Alqasimi, 25 of Boise, drove the Volkswagen, and Jordon Travis Beckley, 22, of Hermiston, drove the Dodge. The trooper cited both for driving faster than 100 mph, and gave an additional ticket to Alqasimi for reckless driving.

•Hermiston police arrested Jaime Moras Nava, 26, of Paterson, Washington, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and on a warrant for failure to appear.

Umatilla Tribal Police Department arrested Joel Daniel Simpson, 54, of Pendleton, for second-degree disorderly conduct, assaulting a public safety officer and resisting arrest.

1:09 p.m. - The buyer of a 1973 Ford Thunderbird told Hermiston police he paid for the car but the seller refused to give it to him.

1:43 p.m. - A Hermiston-area man reported his wife came to the home at about 12:20 p.m. and “went crazy.” She pushed him, scratched his neck, tried tackling him, he said, and he had to physically remove her from the home. She then left in a champagne Toyota Camry.

1:38 p.m. - Pendleton police responded to a report of a man shoving a woman outside a home on Southwest Marshall Avenue.

3:12 p.m. - A caller on Southeast Second Avenue, Milton-Freewater, reported the theft of several power tools and batteries from his work truck. He said he found some of the tools along the dike.

3:51 p.m. - A Pendleton caller reported the theft of a 15-foot utility trailer from Southwest Third Street.

5:17 p.m. - A caller complained the Hermiston Wal-Mart Supercenter would not let her return a DVD player. She complained the store was not performing its customer service correctly. A dispatcher told her the business has the right to refuse to accept a return. The caller hung up.

6:31 p.m. - A Heppner resident complained about dogs on Southeast Gilmore Street barking non-stop for five days straight.

7:46 p.m. - A caller reported a man was beating a woman in front of a residence on Wilson Lane, Boardman. Police arrived and gave the woman a ride to somewhere else.

7:54 p.m. - An Irrigon widow reported her husband died last month and now her brother-in-law wants her late husband’s gun, but the brother-in-law is a felon and she did not want to give him the gun.

8:19 p.m. - A Pendleton caller on Southeast Second Street told police people asked to clean houses in the neighborhood, and the roommate let one in and now $600 is missing.

10:05 p.m. - A Pilot Rock caller on Southwest Birch Street reported a burglary from a safe.

9:27 a.m. - Keystone RV Co., Pendleton, was the target of a former employee. A manager for the company reported the ex-employee has been charging items on Keystone’s account.

10:24 a.m. - A Milton-Freewater man reported the theft of tools and mechanical diagnostic machines from a shed on the 100 block of North Main Street.

10:32 a.m. - An Echo woman on North Thielsen Street reported someone damaged her back door knob in an attempt to break in.

11:02 a.m. - Irrigon residents placed a couch on the side of Northeast Fourth Street more than two weeks ago, and a neighbor asked Morrow County code enforcement to talk to the couch owners to remove it.

12:16 p.m. - A Pendleton business on Southeast Byers Place told police it fired an employee last month and she has yet to return a company vehicle.

12:21 p.m. - An Irrigon resident reported her stolen vehicle was recovered, but she found items in it that were not hers.

12:25 p.m. - A Mississippi woman asked the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office to check on her father in Athena because his girlfriend called and screamed she was going to beat her father with a stick while he slept.

1:16 p.m. - A couple who were to remove items from a trailer in a “lock up storage” area at Vista Mobile Home Park, 1800 N.E. 10th St., Hermiston, instead locked themselves inside the trailer all night. The manager called the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office for help, and a deputy gave the man and the woman a warning.

1:55 p.m. - A female driving a motorcycle crashed into a tree at the Morrow-Grant County Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) Park, 33 miles southwest of Heppner on Highway 207. Fire, ambulance and police services from Heppner responded, and an ambulance took the female to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.

4:28 p.m. - A Hermiston woman on East Joy Lane called 9-1-1 after her husband hit and bit her.

9:15 p.m. - An older man in Irrigon called and asked for the day and month. A dispatcher told him it was March 8, 2016.

10:05 p.m. - Law enforcement responded to a call about a burglary in progress at a home on Southwest Kinkade Road, Boardman. Police did not find any suspects at the scene.

•Pendleton police arrested Steven M. Ruiz, 43, of 130 S.W. Court Ave., No. 105, Pendleton, for violating a restraining order and tampering with a witness.

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s office arrested Troy Charles Doss, 52, of Kennewick, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

•Pendleton police arrested Christopher Michael Charlo, 28, of College Place, for domestic violence fourth-degree assault and strangulation. That led to the Umatilla County District Attorney’s Office charging Charlo with assault, attempted assault, strangulation, physical harassment and menacing, all related to domestic violence against two victims.

1 a.m. - Morrow County emergency services received call-outs for a vehicle that rolled three or four times at Interstate 84 and West Paterson Ferry Road, Boardman, with one male trapped inside. Multiple agencies responded, and an ambulance took the person to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston.

7:23 - A wife in the Milton-Freewater area reported a female with blond hair, wearing a black sweatshirt, was on the property around 7 a.m. and asked for her husband, who was next to an apple shed. Then the woman left on North Winesap Road.

8:08 a.m. - A caller reported thieves in the night stole a pallet of shingles and siphoned fuel from two vehicles on the 600 block of North Russell Street, Milton-Freewater.

8:16 a.m. - Truckers hauling waste from the Riverpoint Farms onion plant on East Walls Road, Hermiston, were not covering loads with a tarp. A caller said the waste blows all over the road, and while the drivers “cleaned up their act for a while,” they returned to their litter-making ways.

8:28 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a suspicious male in the area of Grecian Heights Park, 1910 S.W. Athens Ave., Pendleton. A second caller at 8:52 a.m. reported an intoxicated person was in the area of the park.

10:55 a.m. - A man in Umatilla called police and said his friend just came over to his place after an ex-boyfriend beat her.

10:59 - A man reported the theft of binoculars from his vehicle on Stateline Road, Milton-Freewater, that are worth $2,800.

12:25 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report that four dogs could be without food or water at a home on South Edwards Road, Hermiston.

2:07 p.m. - A male pounded and kicked at a door at a home on Southwest Third Street, Pendleton, then broke one of the windows.

2:34 p.m. - The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office received a report a “very intoxicated” man was at the circuit court at the Morrow County Courthouse, Heppner, and left in a compact sport utility vehicle. Law enforcement did not find the man,

5:26 p.m. - A Heppner man reported he and his wife no longer feel safe due to the next door neighbors and asked the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office to roll extra patrols through the neighborhood and past the neighbor’s home “to calm some of the stuff down.”

6:47 p.m. - Law enforcement was on the lookout for an armed man after a report that he pulled a gun during a dispute. A caller reported the problem started when he passed a 1970s model Ford pickup with a flatbed on Highway 730 between Irrigon and Umatilla, and the vehicle then followed him home. He and the other driver argued, the caller said, until that driver pulled a gun.

The armed man was white and about 6’1’ to 6’2’ with dark hair and in a blue or black coat, according to the caller. Law enforcement was not able to find the suspect.

7:37 p.m. - A Pendleton ambulance took a woman to a hospital after she reported she was suffering a bad headache, was dizzy and had a tooth was coming out.

7:40 p.m. - A Pendleton woman called 9-1-1 for help after her 1-year-old son locked himself in a bedroom and she could not open the door.

21:44 p.m. - Someone knocked on the front door of a home on Northwest 35th Street, Pendleton, and then held a flashlight to the peephole. The man in the house then checked but did not see anyone. Police did not find anyone suspicious in the area.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Manuel Alejandro Sanchez, 30, of 53696 Locust Road, Milton-Freewater, on a city court warrant, two Umatilla County felony warrants and for felony fleeing from police, misdemeanor fleeing from police, resisting arrest and two counts of recklessly endangering others.

•An off-duty Pendleton police officer reported a disturbance between a man and woman on the grocery side of the parking lot at the Pendleton Wal-Mart Supercenter. The cop also reported the man could be drunk while driving a red Ford F-250 pickup.

Police arrived and arrested Tony W. Mahaffey, 64, of 2918 N.E. Riverside Ave., Pendleton, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

•Pendleton police arrested Kenneth T. West, 25, of 1817 S.W. 43rd St., Pendleton, for duii.

6:34 a.m. - The first of two men told Milton-Freewater police someone stole his wallet from his vehicle. The crime happened on the 100 block of Casco Street, he said. And the second man at 7:24 a.m. reported the theft occurred on the 80 block of South Andrea Street.

6:40 a.m. - A westbound driver crashed a car after missing the last turn into the viewpoint on Interstate 84 at milepost 223. Oregon State Police reported the green Pontiac Bonneville damaged a concrete curb and reflector post before going over the bank, then rolled once and came to a stop on its tires about 30 feet below the lookout sidewalk. The impact triggered both air bags, and state police noted there was a bottle of alcohol in the car.

But the occupants were gone, and police did not find them during a search.

8:20 a.m. - Pendleton police received a report of possible domestic violence at a home on Northwest 10th Street.

8:25 a.m. - A Pendleton man reported the theft of a package containing a new laptop from his front porch on Northwest Fifth Street.

9:51 a.m. - A driver in a white Dodge zoomed into Wagon Wheel Loop and Depot Lane, Irrigon, and when neighbors there told him to slow down, he saluted them with a single finger, or indicated he was No. 1, or perhaps tried to flick something he picked from the end of that finger. Otherwise there was no indication he understood the message to slow down.

12:36 p.m. - A female told Pendleton police a local offender stole her cellphone and threatened to “mess her up” if she called police.

2:11 p.m. - A man reported Islas Auto Sales, Umatilla, sold his vehicle while he had the loaner.

3:18 p.m. - A Pendleton resident on Tutuilla Creek Road complained about neighbors “constantly running their loud ATVS,” and asked for options for dealing with the problem.

3:35 p.m. - Three 12-14-year-old boys on Southwest Frazer Avenue, Pendleton, threw a basketball a neighbor’s new garage door.

3:40 p.m. - A male tried to steal keys to a vehicle after taking a car for a test drive at Islas Auto Sales, Umatilla.

3:49 p.m. - A man reached through a pet door to try and gain access into a house on Northwest 10th Street, Pendleton, when a woman inside spotted him, recognized him and said she was calling police. The man fled.

3:53 p.m. - A caller told Umatilla police his dad stole $250 from him.

6:19 p.m. - The owner of property on Sturgis Street, Hermiston, reported a vehicle struck his fence, tearing down a 30-foot section. There also was a license plate at the scene.

9:21 p.m. - Two people on foot pointed a green laser light at a horse on North Ott Road, Hermiston. The horse owner reported the incident but was not able to provide descriptions of the culprits.

9:21 p.m. - A manager of Dave’s Chevron 12th Street Food Mart, Pendleton, asked police to trespass a female that uses the restroom at the business to inject drugs and then leaves the dirty needles behind.

•The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shanna Lenore Hewitt, 36, of Athena, for misdemeanor assault after a 9-1-1 caller reported a woman was hitting people.

12:27 a.m. - A mother in Pilot Rock reported her 28-year-old son punched holes in the walls of their house and caused a disturbance.

12:58 a.m. - Morrow County law enforcement responded to a call about a man dragging a woman by her neck at a home on Summit Lane, Boardman. A Boardman ambulance took the victim to Good Shepherd Medical Center, Hermiston. Officers from the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and Boardman Police Department searched but did not find the suspect.

2:39 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received another call about a man posting photos on Facebook of vehicle keys someone stole from Velasco Used Cars, Hermiston.

7:42 a.m. - A Hermiston man reported someone is using his late father’s Social Security number.

9:11 a.m. - A caller reported a burglary and damage at a storage building at West Main Street and Surething Avenue, Ione.

10:18 a.m. - Pendleton police received a call about mail theft on Southwest 15th Street.

11:10 a.m. - A caller with the West Extension Irrigation District reported two pit bull dogs were in an irrigation ditch near Westfall Lane and Highway 730 about a mile west of Shady Rest Mobile Home Park, Umatilla. One dog was dead, the caller said, and other was “pretty wound up and has been feeding on the dead one.”

2:04 p.m. - A woman reported her father in Athena sent her photos that show his girlfriend assaulted him. He was not asking for an ambulance, the daughter said, and the girlfriend had been drinking.

2:32 p.m. - A man reported the theft of $3,000 worth of tools from a job site inside a locked building at East Harding Avenue, Stanfield.

6:24 p.m. - A mother in Pilot Rock reported her son was acting out, threw items and “put his hands on her just to agitate her dogs.”

7:56 p.m. - A caller reported a burglary and theft of a television, generator, DVD player and more from his recreational vehicle in the Mill and Tiger Creek areas of Umatilla County.

8:58 p.m. - Law enforcement received a report of a topless woman walking north on Highway 11 near Mount Hebron Drive, Pendleton.

12 a.m. - A caller asked for an ambulance to the Tillicum Inn, 1481 Sixth St., Umatilla, for a man who was the victim of an assault and may have suffered broken ribs and hand. The patient, though, refused an ambulance ride to a hospital, and no one told police where the assault took place.

3:45 p.m. - Chickens, a caller reported, were tearing up the grass in his yard on Paul Smith Road, Boardman. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded, talked to the caller and the neighbor and concluded the culprits were probably wild Guinea hens.

9:50 a.m. - The Pendleton owner of a 2016 Toyota Camry on Northwest Furnish Avenue reported someone threw eggs at it during the night.

10:18 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a call about three males and a female on the Oxbow Trail at Riverfront Park on Southwest 23rd Street and West Orchard Avenue, Hermiston, and one male had some sort of rifle.

11:49 a.m. - The Pendleton fire department received a complaint about an illegal burn on Southwest 10th Street. A caller about two hours later reported the same burn and smoke in the area. And a caller at 3:51 p.m. complained about an illegal burn on Southwest Nye Avenue.

12:31 p.m. - A woman reported someone broke into her vacant house on South Broad Street, Weston, and stole a bunch of guns and ransacked the entire house.

6:01 p.m. - A Umatilla man on John Day Street called for police for an angry neighbor that lives across the street.

6:13 p.m. - An off-duty sheriff’s deputy reported a woman was too drunk to drive when she left the new Japanese restaurant at 210 S.W. 17th St., Pendleton, but got into a vehicle and headed east on Dorion Avenue. Police did not find her.

8:51 p.m. - A Pendleton resident received threatening Facebook posts.

9:16 p.m. - Eight juveniles were inside the construction area at Sherwood Heights Elementary, 3111 S.W. Marshall Ave., Pendleton.

10:05 p.m. - A resident on Northwest Seventh Street, Pendleton, reported a loud party with a fire burning in the driveway.

11:13 p.m. - A Pendleton woman reported a man attending University of Oregon, Eugene, sent her a message through social media that he would kill her and her brother.

11:18 p.m. - A Pendleton resident asked police to quiet down the loud party on Southwest Nye Avenue.

1:20 a.m. - Pendleton police received another complaint about another loud party, this one Southwest First Street.

6:20 a.m. - A caller reported a woman screamed from behind the parking area at U.S. Forest Service at East May Street and North Main streets, Heppner. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy checked the area but found no one. Seven minutes later, a caller reported a crying woman did not appear to want to go with a man at the old swimming pool on South Main Street, Heppner. Again, a deputy was not able to find anyone.

8:27 a.m. - Someone drove over the mailboxes in a neighborhood on West California Lane, Irrigon, scattering mail all over the place.

9:53 a.m. - Vandals spray painted vehicles on Southwest 45th Street, Pendleton.

10:32 a.m. - An Irrigon man reported an animal killed one of his goats, but he did not know if it was a dog or cougar. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy responded, and the goat owner said he would set up a game camera.

2:34 p.m. - Power lines on Northwest Third Street, Pendleton, were “popping” and arcing due to the storm front that blew through the area.

3:47 p.m. - The wind also blew over a tree that blocked both lanes of Lee Street Grade Road near Campbell Road outside Pendleton. The tree was too heavy for one person to move.

8:07 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of a man breaking into a house on Southwest Third Street.

9:18 p.m. - A woman on Mamie Street, Stanfield, told police a man may have stolen her son’s “green and rusted” 1970 Chevrolet flatbed pickup with a toolbox on the bed. Almost two hours later, another caller on that street reported a male who earlier stole a car from the house just trespassed and was knocking on his door.

Friday

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Antonio Angel Ortega, 21, of 1221 Chestnut St., Milton-Freewater, for domestic violence fourth-degree assault.

•Hermiston police arrested Anthony Stephen Anderson, 25, address not provided, for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Saturday

•Police in little more than two hours arrested three people for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Pendleton police Pendleton police at about 1 a.m. arrested Cyrene Marie Redelk, 22, of 404 Dogwood Loop, Pendleton for duii and resisting arrest. Then at about 2:30 a.m., Pendleton police arrested Zachariah W. Marshall, 27, of 2413 E. J Court, La Grande, for duii,

The third arrest came after a report at 2:55 a.m. of a hit and run on South Main Street, with a vehicle blocking the southbound lane. The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office cited Joshua S. Flores, 35, of Salem, for the hit and run and put him in cuffs for the duii.

•Oregon State Police arrested Richard Allen Logan, 47, of Blackfoot, Idaho, for duii (controlled substances). State police reported Logan at about 7:30 a.m. drove a red Honda Accord into the parking lot of the agency’s office at 681 Airport Road, Pendleton, talked with troopers and “showed multiple signs of drug use and mental issues.”

Logan did not know why he was there or where he was going, state police reported, and he did not make sense when talking. He then failed a sobriety test, and a trooper took him to the Umatilla County Jail, Pendleton, where he provided a urine sample but declined to let police evaluate him for possible drug use.

•Hermiston police arrested Taylor Reid McKenzie, 25, of Stanfield, for first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and second-degree mischief.

•Pendleton police arrested Tyler James Neff, 24, of Pendleton, for second-degree theft and third-degree robbery.

•Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Luis Alberto Nunez, 30, of Irrigon, for domestic violence fourth-degree assault after a woman reported her boyfriend punched her, threw her to the ground and threw and rock and a drink glass at her.

•Milton-Freewater police arrested Raul Garza Cantu, 61, of 703 1/2 Robbins St., Milton-Freewater, for duii.

Sunday

•Hermiston police arrested Jesus Zuniga Ayala, 60, address not provided, for first-degree possession of a forged instrument, identity theft, giving false information to police and on a warrant for failure to appear.

8:04 a.m. - They came during the night and pried the hasp off the door at the Weston Cemetery on the outskirts of the small town, then broke a window and entered the office, which they “tore up.” The person who reported the crimes waited outside the office for a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy to arrive.

8:49 a.m. - A person out for a walk reported finding a dead calf someone dumped on South Townsend Road near Freels Lane, Hermiston, where Townsend ends and turns into gravel.

8:58 a.m. - A woman called 9-1-1 and reported she was driving too slow from McNary Heights Elementary School on Columbia Boulevard, Umatilla, when a female in a white car started following her and honking her horn. The caller said she was scared to go home and did not know the other driver, but she lives on the 300 block of Walla Walla Street.

9:22 a.m. - A father in Stanfield reported his son died, and now his daughter-in-law will not let him have his son’s certain guns, boat and other items.

9:49 a.m. - A man on Northeast Moe Lane, Hermiston, shot at a pit bull that attacked his dog. The man hit beside the pit bull, which lives next door. He asked for Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy “to get this resolved as this isn’t the first time that the dog has attacked something.”

10:17 a.m. - Pendleton’s code enforcement officer dealt with a large amount of garbage accumulating near a trailer on Southeast 16th Street.

12:26 p.m. - A manager at the Sinclair station and mart at 701 Southgate, Pendleton, reported $400 missing from the business deposit.

12:29 p.m. - A caller reported the theft of her car from the parking lot at Shari’s Restaurant, 319 S..E Nye Ave., Pendleton.

4:27 p.m. - Four juveniles went door-to-door on Southwest Quinney Drive, Pendleton, and asked residents if they could use their Wi-Fi Internet.

7:32 p.m. - Pendleton police received an anonymous report of a dog chained to a tree for days without food or water at Southwest Sixth Street and Goodwin Avenue.

11:09 p.m. - A woman entered Bucknum’s Tavern, 152 N. Main St., Heppner, and said a man beat her with a steel post. An ambulance took her to Pioneer Memorial Hospital, Heppner, and a Morrow County sheriff’s deputy took a report and spoke with her and the possible suspect.

11:36 p.m. - The alarm sounded at the Irrigon Mini Mart, 420 E. Highway 730, Irrigon. A Morrow County sheriff’s deputy found someone broke in through the restroom window and may have left through the back door.

11:44 p.m. - A woman on Eastside Road, Milton-Freewater, called 9-1-1 and reported a white man in his 30s came to her door with a flashlight and stated he was with the fire department but showed no credentials. He had dark hair and wore a vest, she reported, and claimed to be looking for the 500 block and wanted to know what her address was. The man left on foot and walked south past the fire station. She asked for a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy to check to make sure he was who he said he was.

There was no information about a deputy finding the man.

7:04 a.m. - An employee of Umatilla County reported someone during the night entered the road department’s yard on Westgate, Pendleton, and tampered with items.

7:33 a.m. - A Hermiston call told police a small dog was dead after a vehicle ran over it on East Main Street near Southeast 10th Street, and children walking to school would see it.

7:44 a.m. - Someone opened a new credit account in the name of a Hermiston man, who told police he found out after receiving notice in the mail.

8:57 a.m. - A Stanfield woman told police she was scammed and wanted to talk to an officer about it in person.

11:19 a.m. - A 9-1-1 caller in Umatilla swore at a dispatcher, did not want to give her address and said she wanted an officer to “remove psycho from her residence.” She continued to be uncooperative and then hung up. The dispatcher called back but only got a voice mail.

12:48 p.m. - Hermiston police received a report of “lots of activity lately in and out” of the vacant house on the corner of East Wilshire Avenue and Northeast Fourth Street.

12:51 p.m. - Pendleton police received an emergency call about a female hitting a male in the back at Northwest Carden Avenue and Northgate/Highway 37.

1:09 p.m. - Well, at least this guy was not upside down in a tree, but a Pendleton woman reported a man standing “totally naked” in front of a window in a house on Southwest 41st Street.

13:23 - A Pendleton woman reported someone during the weekend stole $1,100 cash from her home on Northwest Bailey Avenue.

1:57 p.m. - A Pendleton ambulance took a woman to the hospital after she blew out her knee.

4:40 p.m. - A Pendleton woman told police she was receiving threats from a person she believes is a scam artist in regards to her computer.

5:25 p.m. - Stanfield police received a report that a man on Monday morning destroyed the windshield wipers on a woman’s car on South Main Street.

5:30 p.m. - A Hermiston caller on Vincent Lane reported seeing a cougar in her yard on Feb. 27 between 3 and 4 p.m. This was the first time she saw a cougar in the area, she said, and she lived there since 1968. The mountain lion was blonde and had a very long tail, she said, and was sure it was not a dog.

7:59 p.m. - A Milton-Freewater man on North Columbia Street reported he was out of the house when he told a male he was letting stay in a trailer to get his belongings. The caller said he returned home and found someone ransacked his house and his 1998 Dodge Durango pickup was gone.

8:22 p.m. - A woman at Our Lady Of Angels, Hermiston, told police a 15-year-old smells like alcohol, but the parents would not let the woman take the teen to the hospital. The caller asked for an officer to help.

9:51 p.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a delivery driver on Diagonal Road, Hermiston, who found at least 10 shopping carts and other carts in pieces from Wal-Mart, Safeway, Big Lots and Dollar Tree.

10:04 p.m. - A Pendleton woman called 9-1-1 to report a man was in front of her residence on Northwest 15th Street and yelled he was going to kill her. She called back at 1:52 a.m. Wednesday morning and said the man grabbed her as she walked out of the house, so she hit him with her purse, and he ran down the hill.

•Umatilla Tribal Police Department arrested Terence Lee Denny, 36, of Mission, for assault and domestic abuse.

•Morrow County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ronald George Currin, 79, of the Heppner area, for unauthorized use of a vehicle, second-degree burglary and second-degree trespassing.

•Oregon State Police arrested Christopher Lee Fritz, 36, of Heppner, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. State police reported his blood-alcohol level was .15 percent, almost twice the legal limit of .08 percent.

7:27 a.m. - A Milton-Freewater man told police someone broke into his home on the 100 block of Southeast Ninth Avenue and stole items.

7:45 a.m. - The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office received a report of people living in a white van for the past week in a church parking lot at Highway 339 and West Ferndale Road, Milton-Freewater.

9:46 a.m. - A caller reported residents on Diagonal Road, Hermiston, have chained two dogs all winter long, 24/7, and now have a new puppy on a chain. The dogs also do not have available food or water.

2:09 - A resident of B & M Mobile Home Court, 2903 N.E. Riverside Ave., Pendleton, told police two dogs there constantly get out and attack other dogs.

2:19 p.m. - A caller with A+ Storage, 335 Yates Lane, Boardman, identified a man who entered the office and stole a computer server and files.

3:09 p.m. - A caller on Country Lane, Hermiston, reported a “dude with no teeth” tried to sell a cleaning product. He knew nothing about the product, though, and the passenger in his vehicle was passed out. They left toward Powerline Road.

4:22 p.m. - A student at Pilot Rock High School, 101 N.E. Cherry St., Pilot Rock, wanted to file assault charges on another student.

4:53 p.m. - Pendleton police received a report of three men living in a street sweeper behind buildings at Melanie Square, 1734 S.W. Court Ave., Pendleton.

5:02 p.m. - Five to six transients in a field at Southwest 10th Street and Emigrant Avenue, Pendleton, were aggressive with a boy when he walked home from school.

5:09 p.m. - Staff partially evacuated the state office for Seniors & People with Disabilities, 940 S.E. Columbia St., Hermiston, after a home care worker threatened to “take care of” the office. An employee reported the situation to law enforcement and identified the threat-maker.

5:30 p.m. - A caller in Athena reported her sister’s boyfriend punched her in the chest.

5:30 p.m. - A caller in Athena reported his girlfriend’s sister punched him in the face.

5;57 p.m. - Residents at a house on North Townsend Road, Hermiston, played music so loud for two days it prompted a neighbor to call 9-1-1 and ask for a Umatilla County sheriff’s deputy to have them turn it down.

9:07 p.m. - The farmer on Rieth Road, Echo, reported he confronted a trespasser in his hay field, who claimed he was turning around, but he “was way off the highway.” The caller said he “chased them into Echo, but lost them when they ran a stop sign and were speeding.”

Then on the way home, he found them again, and again they got away. But the farmer got the dark green Toyota Highlander’s license plate.

10:59 p.m. - Pendleton police received a 9-1-1 call from a man who said he was intoxicated, could not make it home, did not have any money and asked police to give him a ride.

11:02 p.m. - The Pendleton ambulance service received a call-out for a male who fell and hit his head on Southwest Athens Avenue, Pendleton, suffered a bleeding bruise and was in and out of consciousness.

•Hermiston police arrested Eric Eugene McCaleb, 42, no address provided, for attempting to flee police, driving under the influence of intoxicants, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct, driving without a license and failure to carry proof of insurance.
